Favorite Drink: Sometimes I drink water... just to surprise my liver!

I have had both home steamers (big with a hose), and portable clothing steamers. I like them.
My most recent portable steamer was great for most things. It got really hot and put out a lot of steam. Plus the face plate heated up, which also helped. However, after only 3 months it stopped steaming, causing me to be in the market for a new one.
I'd rather keep the cost below $70 if possible.
I'm looking for recommendations. I need one SOON!
Thanks for your help!

I've got a handheld one by Conair that I like. My only complaint is, it gets kinda heavy if you have a lot of steaming to do. But, it does heat up quickly, so if you just have one item to steam, it works well.

I really liked it, but it didn't hold much water and was heavy. I didn't like having to crease on the top. I couldn't figure out how to use it. Too awkward. Maybe if I'd had it longer. How do you store yours? Upside down?

I probably won't get another Conair. I wasn't impressed with their customer service. Even the time I called expecting to get a recomendation and make a purchase. (They couldn't bother giving me a recommendation, so I didn't make a purchase.)

If I could find something lighter weight that works, I'd get it, but it DOES remove wrinkles quickly, so that's why I keep it.

When mine worked, it worked well. And worked better than most of the others I've used. My favorite non portable clothing steamer was a Rowenta. It would probably still be working, if I hadn't accidentally left it plugged in all day when I wasn't home. I wish the Conair would have lasted longer.I'm having a hard time finding one that works as well as it did. I do like the larger water capacity of the home steamer.
