I have mixed feelings about this vid. The gal in a sportsbra (which I was pretty fond of wearing solo twenty years ago) is a dramatic fool.
On the other hand, the dude making commentary is talking out of his ass. I have a bit too much experience with what happens when you pull away from a gas pump with the gas pump handle still lodged in your vehicle. The handle will stay lodged in your vehicle. The hose will break quite cleanly and may or may not begin to spew gasoline depending on how the pump operates and whether or not you have already paid for the gas that you put in your tank.
When I did this, 30 years ago, gasoline spilled liberally from the decapitated hose and I stopped in the parking lot. Gas spilled everywhere and the attendant desperately searched for a kill switch.
I landed up paying something for the spilled gas, but nothing for the cost of putting the nozzle back on the hose, which still bothers me. I'm pretty sure that the gas station attendant was completely focused on stopping that expensive, and potentially explosive, and possibly fine-inducing, gushing of gasoline and didn't give a damn about making me pay to reconnect the nozzle with the hose.

From what I understand, they are now made to come of easily so that no gas is spewed all over. Most likely all pumps have been updated with these new "bread away" nozzles.
I still think the video is funny!
