I do! I was really excited this time because my check was $170 more than normal...until I figured out that they forgot to take the $200 out for dependent FSA which means it was really $30 less due to the additional taxes!

Yes- I think it's just the lovely predictability of having money zapped into my account that makes me feel all is right with the world. It's one reason I don't think I'd do well as an entrepreneur.
It's also a reason retirement, when I get to that point, will be a massive culture shock.

I do! I'm still actively paying down debt, so I know that means a little more of it goes away each payday. I'm especially excited about tomorrow's deposit - all the stock that got pulled back when my company got sold should be clearing my account at midnight tonight.

I always said I could never be in sales because while I understand you can make good money, the fact that it is not predictable makes me uneasy. Like car salesman and real estate agents... I have alot of respect for those people because I could never do it.

I get very excited! Money goes in, bills get paid!
I am always checking my account to make sure the direct deposit goes in on payday. Current employer is a small business, and I am sometimes nervous, so definitely check before I pay any bills. 2 months ago the money actually went in a day early WOHOOO!!! This month, my bank wasn't showing the deposit at 7:30 am on pay day.....I was nervous, but it was there by 9:00 am.
Based on my large tax refund (yes it is YM sin but was due to business loss on paper, and large tax credits for kids college) I am definitely going to change withholding to get another ~$300 in take home pay next month.

I always get excited on paydays. I can't wait to download my paystub, update my net worth, and look at how much my 401k contributions and vacation time banks are growing.

Regular paychecks... not anymore. But once a year my DH gets a bonus. This year it was 21% of his yearly salary. Whoo-hoo!

I love paydays Still paying off debt, but its fun to see that number officially go down each time I get paid (auto-payments set up to come out as soon as the check hits the bank). And its nice to renew our "allowance" twice per month for the fun things we want.

Normally, no. Half the time I don't even know which week is payday and which is not. But when I'm working OT (and putting more money toward the new house) it's nice to see exactly how much it will be

Not very excited. Payday is every other Friday and auto deposit. We don't even get paper statements anymore. So half the time I forget which Friday it is and don't check on line to see how much I made.

I get excited. It's good to know that I'm not working for free. ;D Today was payday, woo hoo! I'm neurotic list-writer so I like payday because I have a legitimate excuse to write out numbers and plan things. Otherwise, I'd be writing Saturday's to-do list. Oh wait, I did that at lunch.

Yes, I love payday! Even though I only get a paystub, it's still fun to watch money go into the 401K, and I love the satisfaction of paying the bills!

I write the checks so have lots of control so I enjoy it ahead of time. Tomorrow is payday, I already entered the info and changed which banks get how much direct deposit. I stopped taking out 401K last payday so my net is much large I was doing $1K twice a month. This gives me 2K more to play with. I had almost enough in a different bank to pay my property taxes so adding some to that and will pay from that account. That feels like free taxes since I don't pay from my regular account.
Next payday I will start putting more in taxable investment, I might put more in 401K later in the year depending how the markets are. My 401K has all I want in it for paying retirement taxes on income, ROTH is fully funded for 2011. I love getting distributions on mutual funds and dividends it feels like free money. I might make a thousand in gains and get a distribution of 25 and feel better about that because I can spend it.
My pay amazes me how big it is. My first job paid twice a month and if I worked 12 days I would net $100. Now I am salaried and a half month is over 2K net. I spend a great deal of time on personal things at work but make twice as much in a day as I used to make in 12 days.

Today is payday! I was online at 5AM scheduling stuff. I like to confirm that the deposit will actually hit before I commit. I also played with the new Citibank loan feature, and sent the extra to knock off the smallest loan I have. Fun times.

I get excited since I have my mind on my money and my money on my mind.
I make good bank but much of it goes to investments or paying down my mortgage. I actually look forward to writing out those mortgage checks because I get to fill out that line "extra to principal."
