For me, I would say food, followed by medical care from some nagging pain in /shoulder, and lingering, sometimes searing pain under the arm from cancer surgery in 2005. Finally found relief in finding a masseuse who specializes in manual lymph node drainage and neuromuscular massage. I’m slowly getting better, but those massages are expensive (but worth it) and are not covered by insurance. I wasted my time and money by going to regular doctors, who were unable to help me.

Food is definitely one of our biggest expense. I like food. I like to cook. I like to eat out at new restaurants.
We also pay a lot for our cars. My husband has a 4 wheel drive truck he bought when he moved to Colorado. Then he bought me a 2020 Kia Sportage because he wanted me to have a nice car. I didn't want a new car, but he made a lot of great points about needing a better car for Colorado.
Finally, my youngest daughter is probably another big expense. We have her tuition, half of her student housing payment, and half her car insurance. She has ridiculously high insurance because she is a horrible driver. As a matter of fact, today her insurance company is totaling her car because she got into another accident. No, we are not helping her buy another car. I told her to make sure she has Uber and Lyft downloaded to her phone to get back and forth to work. All her classes are online right now so she doesn't need to get to the school.
