I read an article yesterday (might have been on CNN) about Trump’s debt and shrinking ways to make money. One interesting prospect would be for him to launch his own subscription TV channel. The author pointed out that if only 10% of his voters subscribed at a cost of $5.99 per month, that would provide a gross revenue of $500M annually. That's gross revenue. The expenses to launch a subscription TV channel could be quite large, so it could have sizable losses. Therefore, no income stream Add to this that no one (other than possibly Russians) would loan him the money to start this up. He certainly won’t use his own money.
