I asked my boss if I could come in later so that I had time before work to get a workout in, time when it isn't dark, rather than at, say, 6am.
Forgot to add: He's cool with it, especially if it helps reduce my migraines which I think it will.

Thank you, I appreciate that sentiment. In my head, I've made up a rule (I'm really good at making up rules in my head) that since I'm almost never doing any exercise T/W/Th, then I have to work out the other four days per week.

20 lbs down this morning!!!! Later - please remind me what you're doing to accomplish this. I need to get serious. I'm trying to do intermittent fasting and only eat between 11 and 6 with only coffee before that. I think I did 4-5 days in a row before insomnia hit which means I'm watching tv until 11 or 12 and then get hungry and eat. I did keto November 2019 - March 2020 and lost 25 pounds ( 159 down to 134). Then, COVID hit and it sent me from a mid-life questioning into a mid-life crises. I maintained that loss through about July and then I started eating all the things again. I've put 12-13 pounds back on. Keto really is great; I just have to do the mental work to make it a full lifestyle adjustment.

I DID NOT want to do my workout today. I did it and now I'm glad I did. My body is sore and I'm cool with it.

This week has been brutal for me - it's been soooo cold here, I haven't left the house, and want to just snuggle on the couch with a blanket and read books to the kiddos. Needless to say, I didn't meet my step goal most days, but at least did get out and shovel snow one day. Yesterday, I kicked my rear in gear, and got on the treadmill after dinner. Moving on - will plan to do so this evening as well, and since we're now (barely) above freezing, I'm going to take the kids to the zoo tomorrow so I can get my walk on.

Our highs have ranged between 15* and 25* this week and the lows have been sub-0*.

23 lbs!!!! 😁😁😁😁 This is the best I've ever done on weight loss, it's also the most I've ever had to lose. I want to lose about another 50 or 60 lbs but it is really feeling doable. 😁😁😁😁

I'm being more strict than I was in previous tries but I'm finding it easier. Did I mention I had a bacon and tomato sandwich for lunch? 😁

laterbloomer you're doing so well on keto! I seem to have a 5 pound weight loss limit on it, which I hit a couple weeks ago, and I've been at a plateau since. That's fine I guess. I wanted to lose a couple more pounds, but this will do. So I've transitioned back to a more "normal" diet this past week and have been holding steady with that. Last week: I hit my step goal, and that was really all I can say about that. I only did one day of arm workouts. This week: Average daily steps of 16,500 Two days of arm workouts with weights and add a couple non-weight exercises like push-ups or dips or something One week closer to summer - keep up the great work all!

Hit step goal. If you count snow shoveling as strength training I hit that goal.
This week's goals: 1. 100,000 steps 2. No eating after 9:00 PM 3. 30 minutes of strength training or yoga
Work is going to continue to be stressful

Keep up the good work everyone.

I worked out Saturday and Sunday but ate horribly all weekend. Good job on the workout. I find I do okay on eating Monday thru Thursday. Now if I could only keep up the good habits Friday thru Sunday.

I made it to the gym this morning. Got in 20 minutes on the recumbent bike. It doesn't register towards my step goal but it does count towards my moderate/vigorous activity tracker so that's good.

Why don’t you count it toward your step goal? No, my garmin didn't register it on the device as a step activity. It couldn't even pick up the distance. It just clocked time and heart rate.

Friday, I went to bed with a whole list of things I was going to do, including meeting my trainer. Yesterday, I woke up with exactly ZERO desire to do any of it. I think I made it to 1200 steps and three glasses of water. I watched Supernatural all day.
I don't know how active I'll be today either. I know I'll go up and down a couple flights of stairs because I'm washing my sheets and other linens and I aim to, for sure, meet my trainer at 12:30 but, outside of those things, I'm not really sure.

Made it to 10,000 steps today. Made it to my workout with my trainer this morning, too. We're gonna really start focusing on building my strength and stamina.
I'm going to also aim for reduction in my sugar intake. I'm sure it contributes to my migraines so I need to do some work there, too.

I worked out 11/28 days in Feb. 8/28 days I had at least 70oz of water. 24/28 days I had at least 50oz of water. 18/28 days I tracked my food consumption. I only managed to meet my calorie goals on two of those days.
Here’s to doing better in March.

My goal is to lose 10 pounds this month. I'm not nearly as active as I have been since this new job has me glued to my computer. I'll need to also look at my diet. Since I'm not burning as many calories as I had been, I also need to take in less.

my goal is to continue to get out and walk at least 3mi with the pups every day that the weather allows, and more if the golden is up for it.
other than that, maintain. I'm hoping that the biggest work headache goes away soon, since the launch product is getting packaged this week. if I can slow down and actually learn my new role, maybe I won't be so stressed out.
