I figured I'd start this thread since there was so much input over on the Resolution thread.

If you have a soft tape measure, you can measure yourself or have someone help.  Even if they're dangling down to your belly button.

Not sure about the other thread, will have to go find it, but I thought I'd put this out there:  Years ago I had a mastectomy on the left and a lift on the right, and I've had really good luck with Handful.com.  They're sort of sports bras, really comfortable and include pads so you can make things more even or, I guess if you are a smaller size, you can make things bigger as needed.   Off to find that thread......

If you don't want to click on the calculator to see what to measure, the places to measure are on your ribs right under your boobs and on bare skin. 

Three measurements for band: loose (not compressing the skin), snug, and break the tape tight.  Your band size will be an average of these three measurements.

Overbust: while standing (or sitting) with torso upright and neither tight nor loose; leaning (yep, let 'em dangle down--this is the hardest measurement because it is often the largest circumference); and laying down (yes, they may "pool" into your armpits and that's okay).  All measurements should be across the nips as best as possible.
