I want to know why it has been insisted to use in your lesson plans? Are you an educator in a public school? If so, the ramifications of the education administrative level insisting on what is (in my perception) extremism is alarming.

She insisted on giving Twitter a try, not Parler.  We provided our kids 1:1 Ipads and then Chromebooks.  Her goal was to embrace the technology that the kids were using.  We were to tweet about what we read and what we were doing in class.  The kids hated it because it cluttered their feed.  Lol.

Twitter is not extreme unless the person tweeting is extreme.  I just didn't find it interesting or useful.

chiver78 , I did end up deleting my account.  As I posted on FB, neither my life nor my political views are interesting enough to require an additional social media platform.  And that's true.  I'm still not using Twitter or Instagram or Snapchat.  I use FB to keep up with my friends' activities, not their politics.

No. It is more likely that they didn't think of the word "parlor" at all.  Like i said, I am probably giving them too much credit for a pun.

While admittedly my friend is the type that takes a 20 point system as a challenge, parler has already deleted one of his posts. So they're already censoring liberal viewpoints.
