I remember when I was dating my late-DH he told me he dumped at work. I asked him why and he said he might as well get paid for it and use their toilet paper. Ah, men... lol Snort! Exactly what I was getting at, LOL! That and they like to torment their coworkers.... When I was in HS, a friend was dating this guy. We went over to his house and he didn't have any TP. He said when he ran out he would go across the street to the gas station and steal their giant roll. I asked why he just didn't buy TP and he said it was embarrassing. I'd assume if he was too embarrassed to buy TP he probably never bought condoms or any other random health items. lol

Most stores around here, Cottonelle is $2/roll. When you guys give these prices, I still have to wonder what size roll you are talking about. I picked up a 6-pack of Northern yesterday for my DIL. It was $7.99. However, the package said that it was the equivalent of 24 rolls. Assuming that this is true, that makes the price 33 cents a roll. Northern is at least as good a brand as Cottonelle. I bought it at our Super Walmart. She only has a Neighborhood version, and they were out. The last pack I saw said 4 = 8, and it was $7.99. I have been meaning to compare the amount of sheets per roll, but there are not enough in stock make the comparison.

You're better off comparing square feet. I noticed that the package of TP that I got at the beginning of the pandemic was 3/4" shorter in the length of the roll than the toilet paper that we already had in the cabinet. Thinking that it was just because of the pandemic, I compared it to the new stuff we bought last month from Costco. Costco hadn't changed their sizes, Quilted Northern did.

Add another item to the list of missing & difficult to find: lentils. Since I was at Walmart Supercenter doing grocery shopping, I thought of getting lentils for my lentil stew that I plan to cook next Saturday. I made one for Thanksgiving and I couldn't find the Goya lentils, but I found the Walmart brand. Today there was not a lentil package of any brand to be found at the store. I'll check again next Saturday and if not, I'll try Stop and Shop. But I cook a lot of lentil stew during winter so if I find lentils somewhere I'll buy 3 packages.

During yesterday's trip to Sam's Club they had a fully stocked paper products aisle. Even had a couple pallets stashed at the end of other aisles. Of course I had already ordered a package. I will say the price hasn't changed. I don't think the package has shrunk.

I don't need any toilet paper right now, I bought two 12 packages a couple of weeks ago. But I make a point of taking a peek at the toilet paper aisle each week when I shop. Today it was as usual since it came back; not full but enough in there that you can get some, maybe not your preferred brand. Prices didn't look higher to me.

I bought some lentils and black beans a while back when everything was disappearing from the shelves. I laughed at the time and remember mentioning to DS that living in an area with zero diversity has it's perks sometimes. I like to cook a lot of Mexican food and that aisle was still fully stocked. Amazon appears to be fully stocked in Pantry again. They are back up to 53 pages of offerings. Angel Soft is again available 36 mega rolls for $29. I did a calculation and that's enough for 12-14 weeks in my household. I have plenty of TP and PT. I don't plan to order anymore.

The closest grocery store had bags of black and pinto beans on sale for $0.25. I grabbed 8 bags. The instant pot makes quick work of beans. I have never heard of the brand but it's beans.

I signed up a few months ago, but I've just been getting the things I can have delivered as I am avoiding in-person shopping while the pestilence stalks the land. I'm looking forward to visiting in person once I am able to get the vaccine (I am an old person with other risk factors and am not taking any chances). They have things Costco doesn't have, and sometimes they have things in stock that Costco is out of, so I've been happy to have it. The closest Sam's Club is Catonsville, but Laurel and Severn are not unreasonably far away. Just curious what you experience has been.

I used to go to Laurel sometimes. That one is pretty good. Catonsville was never my favorite. Just seemed older, dark, etc. However, it was super close to the office back in the old days when we went in.
Gaithersburg was always crowded and their parking lot is tiny and therefore always a cluster. I currently go to Hanover, PA. It's pretty new, opened in 2017.
I have the plus membership which costs more but you get free shipping. I have stalked the app for toilet paper and been successful. I also order my K cups. They don't carry the Green Mountain caramel vanilla in stores.
