I keep a stack of TP on the back of the toilet. I told DS the other day I'm showing off our great wealth. lol The actual real reason is I store the TP on a high shelf and DS can't reach it without using a step ladder, so I just pile it on the toilet for him.

I normally use Fresh Step from Costco. I think the sale price is $11 for 42#, regularly $16. It takes me about 6 weeks to go through that much litter, but I have only one cat (not that I’ve not tried to get more). Feel free to take the mother and her three 8-month-old kids I took in when the youngsters were one hour old. They were born in my garage. The three senior sisters would like to see them all gone. I keep reading this and am horrified and then realize you are probably talking about kittens. I'm think "what the hell is happening that a lady would give birth to triplets in someone's garage, and then proceed to live with that person against the family's wishes.

I am lucky I have Sheldon. TD is allergic to cats, and I told him that when Gizzy goes, no more cats since he was so miserable. When Gizzy died, he didn't hold me to it and let me get another. So as much as I'd easily become a crazy old cat lady, I don't want TD to be miserable. Strangely enough, he does not seem to react against Sheldon, but I just can't risk it by bringing in a new cat. Thanks for the offer though......

My mother might have thought quietly to herself about giving up her four kids to a traveling circus once or twice. We four were born in '49, '51, '53 and '54. All the poor woman did was change diapers.

They took them from me at claw-point. I was stuck at a West Virginia rest stop McDonalds bathroom with no pants. Fortunately WV state police gave me a pair of some confiscated shorts and bus fare to get home.

I would send you the three 15-year-old sisters but they don't do much other than eat, pee and sleep. Plus two of the three have never let me touch them. I had to set live traps in one of the bedrooms to capture the two unfriendly ones to get them spayed. (They were born outside and had a feral mother.)

I've been looking but most of them need to be an only or have some issues which would not work out with the horror. Of course, I'm only looking locally because I'm too lazy to drive too far and I refuse to drive into Boston.

One great/wonderful/sweet/kind/etc. cat (I miss her even after her being gone 8 years) and one terror from Hell though I can laugh now about her. Bless her heart (Northern, kind version of expression).

Unless it was covered in catnip. Then she'd be interested. Catnip bong, anyone? I am going to start looking around on Petfinder. I was thinking I'd get away from being a crazy cat lady but that's looking dimmer and dimmer. I miss cuddles.

Reviewing online orders from over the summer and today's prices, Cottonelle, our preferred brand, remains at just over $1/roll. Working outside the home for XX hours a week helps the at home stash.

I remember when I was dating my late-DH he told me he dumped at work. I asked him why and he said he might as well get paid for it and use their toilet paper. Ah, men... lol

Most stores around here, Cottonelle is $2/roll. When you guys give these prices, I still have to wonder what size roll you are talking about. I picked up a 6-pack of Northern yesterday for my DIL. It was $7.99. However, the package said that it was the equivalent of 24 rolls. Assuming that this is true, that makes the price 33 cents a roll. Northern is at least as good a brand as Cottonelle. I bought it at our Super Walmart. She only has a Neighborhood version, and they were out.
