Why horror movie fans are coping better during COVID-19 pandemic: study TORONTO -- All those nights curled up watching zombie massacres, alien invasions, and paranormal hauntings may be paying off during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a new study which suggests horror movie fans are coping better than others during these unsettling times. The study, published last week in the journal “Personality and Individual Differences”, found that fans of horror films exhibited “less psychological distress” during the pandemic than those who prefer other genres. “People who engaged more frequently with frightening fictional phenomena, such as horror fans and the morbidly curious, displayed more robust psychological resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic,” the study’s authors wrote. www.ctvnews.ca/entertainment/why-horror-movie-fans-are-coping-better-during-covid-19-pandemic-study-1.5116765I I've always loved horror and apocalyptic movies and TV shows. I think I'm coping pretty well.

I was thinking people who need to feel as if they are in control of their lives and everything is going to plan would be having the most anxiety right now.
My little sister is one of those people, and she’s been in high anxiety mode since this thing started, but then she pretty much stays anxious because any small thing can upset her plans for the day and send her in a tailspin. Maybe the difference is, as a fan of horror and sci fi movies, I’m well aware every rock might have something terrifying under it, and if you get through the day with all your body parts and family members you’re ahead of the game.

Don't run outside in your sexiest bra and panties
Don't get it on with your boyfriend in front of the open drapes
I think I'm safe enough

Don't run outside in your sexiest bra and panties Don't get it on with your boyfriend in front of the open drapes I think I'm safe enough Don't to into dark basements and attics by yourself. Stick together in a group so the monsters don't pick you off one by one. Now you've got it!
