That actually sounds delicious, why only in Canada? 😢 Delicious my eye! Ew. One would think Canadians would be too smart to try it, but Kraft can probably find 1000 people willing to enter their names just to get the coffee mug. Maybe weltschmerz will be YMAM's representative guinea pig.

Yuk. Maybe Mac and Cheese might be OK with a touch of cloves, but I think in general the pumpkin spice thing is used too much.

My favorite white bean chili has cinnamon and allspice in it, so this may be pretty good too.

hmmm, I make a pumpkin (or butternut or buttercup or kabocha or red kuri) squash sauce that goes over rice or pasta... Sometimes I use curry powder to season it. It's actually quite tasty... I rather like it.
but, kraft mac and Cheese powder with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger added - sounds kind of gross... why bother with the "cheese" stuff - just go with pumpkin saucy stuff...

I'm imagining we will soon see a log of velveeta rolled in Pumpkin Pie spices as a "fall appetizer". I don't think cheddar/yellow cheese and those spices go together very well.
(do people put cheese on pumpkin pie?)

(do people put cheese on pumpkin pie?) I have a vision of that Velveeta log rolled in pumpkin pie spices and studded with pecans Surely nobody puts cheese on pumpkin pie

Using squash, gords and some of the most common spices to make food? Crazy.

I make a fall pumpkin mac and cheese, with fontina and mozzarella in the bechamel. it is gooey and melty and delicious. but it itsn't cheese powder with fake chemical pumpkin spice mixed in.

I'll pass on that. But I admit, I love the pumpkin milkshakes at Culvers.

That actually sounds delicious, why only in Canada? 😢 I just saw on my Twitter feed that it will be available soon in the US. But, no, it doesn't sound delicious. It just sounds wrong.

Just when you think you've seen it all...there's a recipe on MSN's home page for pumpkin hummus. I'll pass.

I feel for pumpkin the same I do for coconut-- it's great to smell, but not for consumption (except in extremely limited circumstances).

I make an awesome pumpkin and black bean soup, as well as pumpkin and chicken enchiladas. I love savory pumpkin dishes rather than sweet ones.
I saw a pumpkin spice product that made me go EW! but I am not posting a link to it. Let's just say it was an edible, personal lubricant and leave it right there.

You know you don't have to buy it if you don't want it, right?

I see this trending into a thing! Pumpkin belongs in pie and maybe soup. Then there are cookies and bars! Only black pepper on mac cheese with the occasional lemon pepper.

Pass. Hard pass. I don't want my coffee to taste like strawberry cheesecake or wine or even whiskey. For that matter, if I wanted it to taste like whiskey, I could just spike plain coffee. And I for sure don't want it to taste like Cap'n Crunch!

I've had pumpkin ravioli that is delicious, so I'd try a mac & cheese, that doesn't sound too crazy.
I don't actually like pumpkin spice products in general - I can't stand any flavored coffee and I don't like pumpkin pie (that may be more of a blah texture thing), but the spices that go into pumpkin pie aren't offensive or anything.

I'd try making my own but hard pass on Kraft. I tend to find a lot of the things that come pre-seasoned as "pumpkin spice" to be like eating/drinking a mouthful of perfume. If I am going to play with those flavors I do it myself so I can control the spice ratio to my tastes.
