Bonny, that sounds tough and sad. are all places like this locked down in CA? I hope you are able to see him at least one more time.  I assume so. They are following State Nursing Home guidelines. I feel sorry for the staff too. They hate seeing their residents suffer as well. |

Hugs, Bonny. We lost my father last year before all of this covid stuff started. I'm still devastated about losing my father, but I'm glad that he was able to pass away peacefully, surrounded by his family. I am crying for you as I write this. Take care.

I’m sorry, Bonny. The covid restrictions against nursing/hospice/assisted living visitors are necessary but so hard on everyone involved. I’m glad you were able to visit. Thinking of you. |

This must be so difficult to want to be with him but you can't because of Covid. My dad got AML at this time last year and died 2 1/2 months later. I was blessed to see him at least 2/3 of those days either in the hospital in my town or driving out to where they lived about 50 miles away. It must be hard not to be able to see him during this time.  |

I'm so sorry for your loss. My dad passed in April. What is normally a tough process is made even more challenging by the pandemic. Sending good thoughts to you and your loved ones.
