I'm a little curious why Joe Biden has not released any names, or a list on who he would choose for the Supreme Court if he wins the next term. Not exactly shocking news that Ginsberg won't be in much longer. He has nothing to hide, does he ? Biden will release his list when trump releases his tax returns like Biden already has. trump has nothing to hide, does he ?

You hit the nail right on the head for why I posted that with your astute comparison. There will be lots more coming. Joe is afraid of something with his refusal to address the very likely possibility of a judge appointment. (Like that)

So why hasn't Joe broached the subject of Ginsberg's limited time left ?
Is he afraid he might put something out there that isn't narrative, and an actual responsibility.

Biden not playing into it is a good thing. Like the tax return thing ?

I really feel no intense need to review potential supreme court justices.

I wasn't actually criticising action/lack of from Joe Biden, more of the point of looking for the defense of any action that can be dreamed up. In a 'he didn't do this so he is wrong or hiding something' etc, type of way. Kind of the stuff of nonsense.

trump has nothing to hide, does he ?Still looking for Obama's school records Yes, I know he was on 'Harvard Law Review' or something like that ........... but haven't seen actual school grades. Which previous president has released their grades? Will trump do it if Obama does? Which previous president or candidate hasn’t released their tax returns? Do you ask your physicians or other professionals to release their grades? Your question is absurd and you know it

They still need to question the man’s grades as if that will somehow prove they are not a complete idiot for questioning them. Intelligent people everywhere know that to be law review at Harvard IS a grade so to speak... top 10% of the class. Then he compounds it by teaching at the University of Chicago, another esteemed institution of higher learning. HELLO!!!😳 I’ll bet anything that ‘person’ doesn’t think this line of inquiry is racist.

So THAT is why they accused him of not being born in America. Because they know we have set the system up in a way that no black man could possibly live, get education and succeed in their America. He must be from somewhere else.
Kamala, too.

that is what asking a black person to do things, say things, produce things, or prove things that you would NEVER ask a white person to do, say, produce or prove is.

So far Trumps appointments over the last coup!e of years have not gone down the partisan route. I don't think I would want to predict what might happen. I've noted that I like predicting more than most people.

So stop whining about Biden when you should be castigating Mitch for ripping off the American people. no. but Merrill Lynch and Merrick Garland do.

Biden is not going to release his SCOTUS selections. there is nothing in it for him. Trump is not going to release his tax returns. there is nothing in it for him.
everyone can draw their own conclusions for that. my conclusion is that Trump either has massive Russian connections that would be visible in his tax returns or he is not worth shit. my conclusion about Biden is that he is aiming for someone left of Ginsburg to replace her.
there you have it. happy voting.

The funny thing is we know what type of grades presidents have gotten. Clinton was a Rhodes scholar, Bush and Gore were middling students, Obama was on law review at harvard, and trump threatened to sue if his grades were released. If you were top of the class Why would you care if your grades were released? But the one she asked for was Obama. Yes, I agree, clearly motivated by racism

Not exactly shocking news that Ginsberg won't be in much longer. He has nothing to hide, does he ? Why should he? Trump released no names when he ran in 2016. Actually link: Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Wednesday released the names of 11 potential U.S. Supreme Court nominees that he would choose from to replace the late Justice Antonin Scalia. ... But there is something interesting. Here is his list: ... The list, first reported by the Associated Press, includes judges from around the country: Steven Colloton of Iowa, Allison Eid of Colorado and Raymond Gruender of Missouri, Thomas Hardiman of Pennsylvania, Raymond Kethledge of Michigan, Joan Larsen of Michigan, Thomas Lee of Utah, William Pryor of Alabama, David Stras of Minnesota, Diane Sykes of Wisconsin and Don Willett of Texas. ... “I’m going to submit a list of justices, potential justices of the United States Supreme Court, that I will appoint from the list,” Trump said in March. “I won’t go beyond that list. Some people say maybe I’ll appoint a liberal judge. I’m not appointing a liberal judge.” (emphasis added) Note who isn't on the list.

Was he a Rhodes scholar or not? Careful with your answer. I didn’t vote for either draft dodger, something you are unable to claim. I guess being a draft dodger is no longer disqualifying.

Back when I was eligible to be drafted 1970-lottery it wasn’t considered ‘dodging the draft’ unless you were actually drafted. Everyone I knew was trying to figure out how to avoid being drafted. Different animal. So 2S student deferments and 4f for physical or mental infirmities was common. I have 1 friend that had a convoluted path as he had a child. I was 2S then had high lottery numbers.
If Clinton figured out how to avoid going good for him. It was a complete FUBAR event that still taints us. Of course the white bitty element will find something wrong with that moral stance. Did she serve?

Part of the requirements of being a citizen, right?

nah. it is never a good time for that, for some people. if a Democrat had done that, he would never be elected. if Obama had done that, he would have been drawn and quartered.

Clinton: Student deferment, reservist deferment. Ultimately turned down the deferment and reclassified 1-A. Trump: Four student deferments, fake letter from doctor about nonexistent condition two years after he had been examined and classified physically fit for duty. Hmmmm, which is worse? Which is worse?

That person voted for someone that used 4 deferments and then bone spurs to avoid serving then plays the Clinton card. Such hypocrisy! Now her vaunted POTUS has doubled down calling those that did “suckers and losers”. As I recall there was FORCED involvement in that mess. Saddens me still that so many young men of my age died for earnings per share of the war profiteers.
