I didn't get the Amazon package delivered today, this was my last response…
5:27 PM Package arrived at a carrier facility Fayetteville Ar Distribution Center, US
So, far it has visited Rogers, AR, Springdale AR and now Fayetteville.
I tried the return idea early, all I've manage to do is reorder the stuff and then they want me to return what I don't have.
Egads...and I wonder why my hair hurts.

Happened to me, not delivered but wanted me to return to get credit I used the Amazon online chat to resolve issue. The return request is an automated response but no need to get credit if you didn’t receive

I don't order much at all from Amazon. I just go to the store. I do not have a prime account. This USPS stuff is really getting bad.
Do you all get your paper statements delivered via email or still thru USPS? I still like getting statements in the mail but I pay thru ACH debits so that saves on postage.

Online chat.....tell me how to find it and get on it....there has to be something besides a keyboard that can help. On menu go to orders, click on the order, ‘Ineed more help’ is under the 2 options (start return or get details on policy) Click on I need more help, online chat is there When you do online check usually it’s fast and can solve issue. If not you will be transferred to a person

On the other hand, I mailed a package to my DS late on Tuesday afternoon from a small post office, priority mail, with expected delivery on Friday. He got it on Thursday.
Here, most of the Amazon packages are delivered by Amazon drivers. They occasionally arrive a day late. Sometimes USPS handles the last leg of delivery, and they deliver on time or a day late. No big deal.

DB works the counter at a P.O.
The problem is NOT of the local post offices’ making. EVERY night, Amazon dumps TRUCKLOADS of packages to little local post offices for the final delivery. Amazon pays PENNIES for this service — the Post Office is LOSING money on every Amazon delivery it makes (but Jeff Bezos is the richest man in America even after his divorce). The Post Office does not have the funds to hire more employees to process and deliver the millions of Amazon packages it receives every day. The Post Office also does not have the funds to refund delivery charges on all of the late Amazon packages because, remember, it is already losing money on every Amazon package it delivers. So, don’t blame the local guys. Blame the Old White Men in Washington who decided the Post Office should deliver Jeff Bezos’ mail for less than free.

Here the Amazon packages are delivered about 6:30 AM every morning to our small post office. Unless it is a 3rd party seller that uses FedEx, the packages end up being delivered by USPS.

I had a package that was rerouted all over the state of Ohio. It finally arrived a few days late.

A package I was supposed to get from Amazon yesterday is sitting in Green Bay WI. Why I don't know. I will see how it plays out before I contact Amazon since I know it was not their fault.

There is an Amazon Warehouse about 10 minutes (maybe 2 miles) from my house. If it is in stock there, I get my packages delivered by courier next day. If it comes from another warehouse, it will come via mail.
The last two items I ordered from Amazon are going back. Items were not what I expected, so there were a miss. One I have to take to the UPS store, the other one I am going to take a second look at it before I decide to send it back.
The UPS store is not inconvenient from work, it is actually accross the street almost from the Kohl's dept store, but did Amazon and Kohl's part ways?

I had a return last week and I had the option of Kohl's or UPS. UPS is easier for me.
That was the first time I had ever been offered Kohl's for a return.

We're getting a lot of deliveries directly from Amazon now. We've been doing a lot of ordering the past three months and very few of our packages get delivered with the mail. We're an hour from Dallas, so I assume they're sending vans out this way every day.

Yes, you send it back. You can print the return label from the Amazon website after telling them the reason for the return.

If they haven't shipped the replacement yet, you may be able to use the online chat and ask them to cancel the replacement. jerseygirl has directions in her post on how to access the chat.

Somehow my package that was in Green Bay WI on Saturday was delivered today, so only 1 day late. It was not something that I needed in a rush. It was my quarterly shipment of toilet paper.
