Only a matter of time until some fool confuses oleadrin and oleander (a common shrub in the South of which all parts are poisonous). Remember the couple that ate the fish tank cleaner as a sub for hydroxychloroquine?

Carson at least is an M.D. Yabbut, after four years of his pronouncements, antics, and support of trump's outlandish and outrageous "leadership," I wouldn't trust him to treat me for anything and certainly not one of my kids in his specialty, pediatric neurosurgery. @donethat, I thought the same thing about oleander when I read the article. Somebody's bound to make oleander tea or bake it in cookies or do something equally as foolish, like incorporate it into a salad.

Carson at least is an M.D. The last time Carson treated anything other than a neurosurgery problem was at least 30 years ago. His level of expertise with this is about as good as mine is with neurosurgery. It is either a recommendation based on monetary reasons, an attempt to divert attention, or throwing everything against the wall and hoping it sticks. The likelihood of this being effective is about as high as my dog doing differential equations.

Therefore Carson should know better and not speak outside of his expertise. What a sh*t show! I keep thinking that its Darwinism at work but so many innocent people keep getting affected by the stupidity of others.

Something I learned back in 1978 when I took calculus, and have not used it in my career.....ever. I think a few years ago TD (who had a ton more calculus than I did) needed to use it to figure something out and even he forgot how to do it and needed a refresher course.

I saw this.....Trump taking medical advice from My Pillow guy (who, incidentally happens to own stock in the company producing this supplement), a neurosurgeon who hasn't practiced in decades and a demon doc. All the best people.

Differential equation:
In mathematics, a differential equation is an equation that relates one or more functions and their derivatives. In applications, the functions generally represent physical quantities, the derivatives represent their rates of change, and the differential equation defines a relationship between the two. Such relations are common, therefore differential equations play a prominent role in many disciplines including engineering, physics, economics, and biology.
The definition I got from a google search!

It is interesting that oleander poisoning can be fatal with relatively small amounts ingested. Osterloh and associates calculated the lethal oleander leaf dose of their patient to be approximately 4 gm. -Web MD

Well, I, for one, always take the advice of junkies who make pillows, instead of bona fide doctors. What could possibly go wrong?
Junkies and witch doctors...I never thought I'd live to see the day......

The definition I got from a google search! I was lazy my senior year and thought taking electives in my major would be easy. Walked myself right into a class on differential equations. Did well but not as easy as I expected. Was worth it to blow the minds of the engineer majors I knew. They didn't like it when a business major could point out the errors they made.

Sorry but I only take my medical advice from the real experts: Jenny McCarthy and Suzanne Somers.
I am starting to think my brother may be right and chemtrails are real. Thats the only reason I can come up with for the sheer insanity of dismissing medical experts like Fauci and embracing the My Pillow guy.
Dollars to donuts this guy has investments in a company that hocks this shit.
Read your link and I called it. Thats one of the first things I look for anytime someone starts touting a supposed miracle cure.

Oh now I like that, about the only thing either are good for and would give a satisfying result. I cannot stand that my pillow guy. Hubs and I both said anyone that needs to hang a cross from the front of his shirt so people can see it. And the only way they will buy his product, is trading on christianity. Just no good in my book.

I just watched Anderson Cooper interview the MyPillow guy. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
Lindell couldn't answer a single question as to who did any of the testing, where the testing was done, where the peer-reviewed studies could be found, etc. He just kept sputtering and ranting that god gave him the platform and that Jesus spoke to him, and that 1,000 people were tested. Where? When? How? Show us! Such a slimy little bastard. Watch it if you can. I couldn't stop laughing.

Don't you wish that this would happen whenever someone starts telling you "Jesus told me. . ."

Maybe Mike Lindell could have teleminister Jim Bakker promote the product for Lindell. Bakker was very successful in promoting his Silver Solution as a cure for Covid-19.

Our local news channel was interviewing their go-to Covid guy, a biologist from McGill University.
Contrary to Lindell's claims that 1,000 people have been tested (which he couldn't back up) no human trials exist. No animal trials exist. It's only been tested on monkey cells in vitro.
Why do these people lie so much.... especially a guy with a big honking cross always visible?

I can think of a good use for a MyPillow pillow and trump. Me too, and it involves an unspeakable and unprintable act that includes his favorite Flori-duh-ridian, Gov. DeSantis.
