So, In WI, and several other states it looks like the Republicans will succeed in putting Kanye West on the ballot as an independent. I wonder what that will do to the polling. Are they thinking it will drain off the POC vote away from Biden? Or maybe young people? Yes, that is the assumption. They did it in at least 3 states.

Ah, the old Bernie/Anti-Hillary/Anti-Trump voters who voted Trump to teach the DNC a lesson. Basically, I will burn this mother-fucker to the ground because I am not getting my first choice. Congrats. You guys win. This country is burning. I hope you are happy.

ie: the GOP loves to blame Perot for Clinton getting elected, but there is literally zero evidence that is true.

An unreliable source said that Hilary lost the key swing states by less than the number of people who voted for Jill Stein (or something like that - maybe it was just one swing state or something?) That can't be, can it?

1) blame the polling 2) blame Clinton 3) blame Stein
it might be a good time to remind everyone that Clinton did, I believe, ZERO campaign stops there in the last month.
I am not inclined to blame Stein. moreover, there is a good chance that Stein voters would have either stayed home or voted for Trump. and yes, I am perfectly serious. they didn't vote for Clinton, which means they were not going to vote for her, in all likelihood.

we need to stop blaming 3rd parties when bad things happen. bad things happen for a LOT of reasons. there is no indication that third parties are one of them. and this is coming from a guy obsessed with Florida, 2000.

I have voted third party many times. Maybe 6. Wrote in Bernie in 2016. None of those votes had any impact at all on the outcome. Washington state is a solid blue. I simply voted for who I wanted to be POTUS and nothing wrong with that.

I'm not blaming anyone. Just an interesting fact. 107k people in one state is both significant and insignificant. I didn't realize she had that much of a following.

So you find it funny that the party you voted for in 2016 concocted the Hi-Tech Jim Crow in Florida. That is, Jeb and Kathryn Harris removed ~90,000 legitimate minority voters. That demographic was voting 85%+ in favor of Gore. Fuck the chads. So you voted for the party that deliberately throws minorities off the rolls because Hillary. Amazing! There are words that cover that. Yes they stole the presidency, yes it’s well documented. The subsequent Bush presidency was a complete disaster with economic crash, two bogus wars, tax cuts for the wealthy, doubling the national debt, millions of Americans losing their homes. Yet you find it funny that anyone might be obsessed with that coup d’tat.

djmj3284 just curious, can you tell me if Police Officers (and other Unionized Employees) still lean Democratic? I am of the opinion that Union Membership is no longer an effective predictor of how people vote, but someone is arguing with me on a community page that Police Officers are Union and therefore vote Democratic. Thoughts?
