I missed today's trump's virus bullshit-a-thon. What did I miss? Same bullshittery. Portland is a beehive of terrorists, the 2020 election will be the most corrupt ever and Covid cases are going down in Florida (nope).

I missed today's trump's virus bullshit-a-thon. What did I miss? Our local news interrupted its broadcast to switch to Trump (already speaking for who knows how long): "the President is speaking, let's see what he has to say". After just a few minutes of no eye contact, flat tone functionally illiterate reading from his notes and weak ad-libbing, they cut the feed - to go to commercials! By comparison, whenever Cuomo holds a daily briefing, they run it in entirety, no commercial breaks, and recap his major points at the end. Even if he runs an hour or more.

The highlighted well describes some aspects of trump's personality.

Those speeches made me think that even post-trump is going to be weird. Does he get invited to things like this where presidents typically speak? Or can we just decide to forget to invite him in the hopes of forgetting these tragic past 4 years?

The highlighted well describes some aspects of trump's personality. It just really struck me, in contrast to the speeches of Clinton, Bush, and Obama at Lewis's funeral. One speaker at Lewis's funeral who easily caught my attention was the Reverend James Lawson. Lawson, 91 and a long time civil rights activist, began speaking in a gentle and soft voice. I attributed it to his age. Slowly it rose to a fiery oration and then ended back at gentle and soft. The man knows how to keep an audience's attention.

He was fabulous! I loved his words. Hell, I loved his pauses. He knows the power of silence, and time to reflect.

I hope the only named site in honor of former President Trump is a port-a-potty rest stop on S. Ocean Blvd, in Palm Beach, FL.
