It’s really quite simple. If we have -0- tests we have -0- cases. Problem solved. Let’s get back to work now.

But he has a bajillion dollars. Just don't ask to see his tax returns or net worth statement.

No no no.... it's more of a 3% loss isn't that bad! 97% is a big amount of wins!!
and I just had a relative argue that 140K dead isn't so bad! the prediction was 250K dead by now. We're "winning" with ONLY 140K dead... (which I think is the use of a fallacy)? And then they brought up the Spanish Flu (which I think they were arguing was worse? - I'm not quite sure what their point was - other than a "red herring"... )
Now that's Trump math! I think we will see some excellent examples of Trump math - with the covid19 numbers going forward - now that the administration controls that information.

They are bypassing the CDC, there is nothing stopping states from putting out their own dashboards and the CDC collating from that (I hope). Dumbasses.

The state's that have GOP leadership could hide all that info. This is going to be one that will be "inside sources" that journalists will quote, but not identity, and the GOP will cry fake news. The next 10 years will be full of statisticians trying to sort through the data. It will eventually come out.

But the instructions to hospitals in the department guidance is explicit and underscored: “As of July 15, 2020, hospitals should no longer report the Covid-19 information in this document to the National Healthcare Safety Network site,” the C.D.C.’s system for gathering data from more than 25,000 medical centers around the country.
www.nytimes.com/2020/07/14/us/politics/coronavirus-data-trump-cdc.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage Reads like hospitals are doing a report that easily could be forwarded to a third party as well.

You just need that third party to be collating that data.....or passing it off to the CDC to also collate.

Easy to forward is one thing. Actually forwarding them because you may lose your job or incur the wrath of powerful people is a totally different story.

he bitched constantly about the $9T that Obama added to the deficit in his (8) years in office, including the worst recession since WW2. he promised he would balance the budget. not kidding. look it up. Trump is going to have a deficit that is at least 15% of GDP, which will dwarf what happened in 2009, and be the worst since the great depression. I'd be more forgiving if he had a surplus last year. www.thebalance.com/trump-plans-to-reduce-national-debt-4114401

Where is the tea party? Probably working on another tax cut that is going to trickle down? The numbers: The federal government’s budget deficit soared to a monthly record of $864 billion in June, as Washington doled out huge sums of money to try to aid small businesses and unemployed workers amid the coronavirus pandemic. The U.S. is on track to register a record $3.7 trillion deficit in fiscal 2020 owing to an unprecedented effort to prop up the economy. For all of last year the budget gap totaled almost $1 trillion.www.marketwatch.com/story/us-budget-deficit-soars-to-record-864-billion-in-june-higher-than-all-of-last-year-2020-07-13
