Just a Trump voter....Yup .......... and in the SAME circumstances would do it again Not sure what that means to you personally but I think knowledge of how he would actually govern will make the difference in 2020. Although I didn't vote for him, I did hope he would rise to the occasion when he won.

Just a Trump voter....Yup .......... and in the SAME circumstances would do it again Would you vote for him again knowing that everything coming out of his mouth is a lie? Or knowing he's done an absolutely horrific job with this pandemic? He couldn't possibly have done a worse job.

He couldn't possibly have done a worse job. don't exaggerate. he only lies about 3/4 the time, or about 3x the amount of any other politician.

Bills, you are far more optimistic than I am. Unless trump does it consistently, it will not sway too many of those who refuse, IMHO. It has become too political and partisan for a one off to do much. If he is capable of changing his behavior and will do the right thing, I will begrudgingly give him credit. But we have been waiting 3.5 years for that to happen. I am not holding my breath and if he does start wearing one the truly frustrating part will be his gaslighting. And so here it is: President Donald Trump tweeted an image of himself wearing a face mask and indirectly called the act "patriotic" on Monday -- a clear pivot away from his earlier reluctance to wear a facial covering in public.
"We are United in our effort to defeat the Invisible COVID-19, and many people say that it is Patriotic to wear a face mask when you can't socially distance," Trump tweeted on Monday -- nearly three months after the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended wearing masks in public.
"There is nobody more Patriotic than me, your favorite President!" he added.

Using trump's own words against him, up until the time he wore a mask he was unpatriotic.
