Tuberville is polling very well in the primary.
but I have a very hard time believing that Sessions will lose.
people with that kind of recognition are tough to beat.
IF Sessions loses, Jones has a chance at taking this seat. otherwise, I put this as likely GOP.

Kemp over here in Ga. won't close anything down or require masks cause it might interfere with UofGa. football. I think they all need to take a look around. At least 2 areas have either cancelled or severely restricted their football programs so far. There may not be ANY college football this year.
But I haven't heard or seen anything about either of them being a favorite. Don't think Jones will have a chance though no matter which of them gets it.

OK, i must admit must admit this whole situation is very bizarre for me personally. I don't agree with Jeff Sessions politics hardly at all, yet admire his stance to recuse himself in the Russian investigation so now in my my mind, a have a certain compassion in my heart for him................ but that is totally on a feeling level. Almost want him to win the primary just to stick it to Trump. djAdvocate , never under estimate the power of American college football. Makes no logical sense, but Tommy T will get a lot of votes simply because he was a winning coach at Auburn. Heck, he is even a movie star! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Blind_Side_(film)

In the Southeast, for a large segment of the population, who you support in college football is more important than what religion you are. Once, when leading a training class, I brought in some cookies that I thought were fall leaves (they were orange ovals). Turns out they were orange (UT) football cookies. A fight nearly broke out. My supervisor was dumbfounded that I did not know that the cookies were pro-UT cookies. Now, I only bring brownies.

Kemp is fighting with Atlanta mayor Bottom - she wants to roll back the opening in Atlanta and shut things back down. Kemp insists HE is the only person in the state who has the authority to require masks and shut things down (and he's not doing either). If there is any silver lining to this virus in Georgia, maybe it will end up with Kemp being kicked out of politics forever. I keep wondering if we would be one of the states spiraling out of control with the virus if Stacy Abrams was our governor now, instead of Kemp, who would live in Trump's butt if he could fit there.

The football season being canceled or scaled way back will get people in SEC country attention. Not sure what they will make of it. Seeing what is happening at schools that have brought athletes back makes me skeptical that they can play, but we will see, I am just annoyed at how many tests we are wasting on testing athletes, so we can bring sports back, since we continue to fight supply issues with testing.

I saw a post that if someone just told them staying home and wearing masks were the only way college football would go this fall we might not be in this problem.

Yep the little Keebler elf is toast, and I think the chances that the auburn coach unseats Doug Jones for the senate seat is pretty much 100%.

And we wonder why Republican members of Congress won't speak out against trump when he says or does some really stupid crap. Speak out and trump will trash your reputation in your district or state when one is up for election or reelection.

I bet all those 'Bama fans loved how much Trump knows and cares about their state. "Lou" Saban? Several times? Really? The man may be second only to God in that state (and even that may be arguable) and Trump repeatedly gets his name wrong? Got a feeling that won't go over well.

his odds are better now. I know that will surprise some of the folks on this thread, but that is what the GE polling says.
