I’m not a lawyer so I don’t understand this.
Mary Trump has written a tell all book about her uncle. No love lost between them because he prevented her and her brother from inheriting their dead fathers share of her grandfather’s estate when the man who passed. ( the bulk of the estate had been diverted to don ( 400 million) before his father passed, leaving, on paper, an estate worth only around 500,000). At that time (20 years ago) Mary had to sign a non disclosure agreement. A court is currently looking at whether or not this is a violation of the non disclosure agreement,
However, her publisher said they have no NDA with Trump and not only are they moving forward with the publication, they’re bumping it up two weeks to July 14th.
Is that legal for the publisher to do?

The publisher is right, they don't have an NDA. You can't contractually bind a person to a contract to which they are not a party.
If there is a violation of the contract, it's with Mary, not the publisher.
Also, the NDA is 20 years old. If it only covers the litigation, she's not supposed to talk about the terms of the settlement, it probably doesn't stop her from talking about her uncle in general. Since Trump is now a really public figure now, not just a socialite like he was, the court may find the merits of the substance outweigh the NDA.
I'm going to place my order on amazon now.

I think her argument that she isn’t bound to the NDA is based on the fact that the financial information trump submitted in that twenty year ago suit was false and that voids the agreement. So it sounds like there may be a whole other can of worms waiting to be opened.

You can have a contract based on falsehoods.

So apparently Mary Trump says Trump paid someone to take his SAT for him so he could get a good enough grade to get into college.
I'm shocked, I tells ya, shocked.
I'm sure he's the first wealthy kid to do that.
Also not shocking, Trump's daddy was a sociopath who was abusive to all his kids and encouraged cheating in order to win.
You could tell that, just by looking at his asshole son.
And my favorite - his sister Maryanne claimed he would never get elected because he's a 'clown.' Never underestimate the gullibility of the GOP, Maryanne!

Cannot find the article though.

It's been too long, and even if someone came forward and claimed he was the person who took it for him, Trump would do his usual 'fake news' song and dance that he uses to ignore anything from sexual assault to Covid.

So...………......do ya'al think that might be the same way that Eric, Jr. & Ivanka got into college? Either that, or Trump paid a chunk of money for a building or dorm to grease their entrance. Since hiring someone to take the test for his kids would be way cheaper, I'm voting for that over the big donation. Never pay top dollar for something you can grift your way into for pennies - the Trump family motto.

The man Trump is accused of paying to take his SAT exam died in 1999, but his widow denied that he would have helped cheat the system
In her new book, President Donald Trump's niece claims her uncle cheated his way into the Wharton School by paying a friend, Joe Shapiro, take his SAT exam for him. Shapiro's widow, who happens to be former tennis star Pam Shriver, threw that claim into question in a recorded statement released Wednesday. While she did not directly refute the claim, Shriver said she was always told that her husband met Trump after Trump started at Wharton. Shriver also said Shapiro was "a man of great integrity" and "honesty." Not saying this guy did it, just pointing out he would have been like 16 or 17 years old. Not the best critical reasoning skills at that age. It is scientifically proven.

Correct. Plus she was always told they met after Trump started at Wharton is almost anti-proof. Why was she told that? Was it true? Or was it a lie he told her so he'd never have to discuss the SAT and Trump? No real way to know, not sure that it is all that important either way at this point.

I did a lot of stupid stuff when I was that age. It is stuff that few people know about, and is never, ever discussed. And the stupid stuff I did back then was not near as crappy as this.

it is possible that he lied about cheating on the SAT. he lies about all kinds of shit. And his character isn't all that "good" - so even without proof - it's just not that far fetched that Trump (or someone who wanted Trump to get a good SAT score) paid someone to make that happen. Also, the fact that "wealthy people" are "special" and often have doors opened for them to get them into prestigious schools doesn't help Trump's case. It doesn't really matter if Trump took the SAT or not... the odds are good he didn't NEED the smarts or the credentials to get into Wharton. That whole "paying" to get your kids into a good school isn't anything new... or that big of a surprise that it happens

My husband has been told which friends I went to college with, which I went to high school with, and where I met the rest (for the most part.) Even if he never spoke to Trump after Wharton, I could imagine saying "Hey, that bozo who is in the news for having an affair with Marla Maples - I went to college with him."

Maybe Pam Shriver is a Trumpette. Trivia; I know who Pam Shriver is but with time she was almost unrecognizable to me. So I looked her up on Wiki. Not only was she married to Joe Shapiro, but after his death, she married George Lazenby of James Bond fame. Lazenby was the second actor to portray James Bond.

Not t much of a stretch to imagine him paying for a good SAT score.

There's a reason he threatened all the schools he attended with legal action if they should release his transcripts during the 2016 election. He doesn't need to worry about that now, we all know he's an idiot, we don't need to see the crappy transcripts.

So...………......do ya'al think that might be the same way that Eric, Jr. & Ivanka got into college? Does anyone really believe the college admission cheating started in 2019 with the likes of Lori Loughlin? What we saw in 2019 is just a group of Johnny-come-latelies who got caught. So whether those three trumpies got in on their own power or with some form of help from daddy is anyone's guess.
