I like the fact that the order is for a date past 2024. Which means it can be canceled by whomever is elected in 2020 or 2024.
This is just catering to his base who want to live in the past or want to recreate parts of it. Its time to let these things go. After reading an opinion piece on Mount Rushmore it feels like it is time to let that go as well and give the land back to the Native Americans.

Not included in Trump's list. Joe McCarthy gave trump his mentor, Roy Cohn. Joe McCarthy was the original deep state/fake news guy. Trump took his Playbook.

Statue of Christ the Redeemer in Brazil. Wait. Nevermind. We're going to descend upon Brazil and protect it.

It's a place to put all the Confederate statues. Those should be put in Mississippi. Maybe a Quonset hut in Hattiesburg.

Sounds okay to me. There's no shortage of statues languishing in temporary quarters and no obvious permanent home for them. I say instead of cluttering up museums with them, we bury them instead.

If this comes to be, my suggestion for location is the geographical center of the 48 continuous states.
American heroes should include ....... a farmer, grocer, janitor, first responder, enlisted military
These are true heroes.
However I do realize this isn't the suggestion that is wanted
<sigh>

Alice Ball (discovered cure for leprosy), Rosalind Franklin (the woman who discovered DNA was a double helix), Harriet Tubman, Dr. Charles R Drew (African American man who invented blood transfusions), Dorothy Vaughan, Mary Jackson, Katherine Johnson and Christine Darden, (the human computers at NASA), Harvey Milk That's to name a few. I am sure I am forgetting many more those are just the ones I know off the top of my head. Oh wait Trump doesn't mean THOSE types of American heroes. He wants the ones that stand for Truth, justice and the rich white male American way to remind the rest of us of our place.

Wouldn't it be great if Trump loses the election and they still build the garden, put a plaque that says it was started by President Trump and then filled it with nothing but civil rights activists from all of history. Especially prominent- any BLM leaders and #Metoo. Put in a few abortion rights warriors, and people who were instrumental in legalizing gay marriage. But, of course, we need the litany of people who freed slaves, and fought against voter suppression, People who worked to destroy the KKK, etc. Maybe as a knife twister, put that picture of Trump's parents in their KKK robes next to BlackKlansman guy.
