My daughter is camping with her college friends and my son is going to a small pool party. I feel safe with both of those options.
I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing. I wish I could rent a hot tub, delivered to my house for the weekend.
What are your plans?

Going to visit DD and family. Worrying a little. I need to check again about their social distancing. We will stay 6 feet apart and try to be outside the whole time. Except for the 2 yo grandson. Hard to social distance from him.

I'm boring. Doing a funeral and the hopefully the rest of the day will be without event so kinda a day off. Not going to the fireworks but they are having them at a different location than normal and encouraging people to watch from their cars.

I'm not sure yet. My brother is having a grill out in the afternoon, so Carrot and I might hit that for awhile...I'm only hesitant because they live a couple hours away and driving will eat up a lot of the day when I have so much to do at home, but I'm off tomorrow and Friday, so I'll probably be ready for a road trip by then anyhow. I heard our new neighbors got a bunch of big fireworks so some of my other neighbors were talking about throwing chairs in my yard to watch them. Older son is going with his Dad and other siblings up north to his uncle's lakeshore cabin for the weekend.

hiding in the cool basement. I've got one pup thats terrified of fireworks, and the other is nursing an injury and needs to avoid stairs for now as best we can. if I can plan well, we can camp in the walkout basement all weekend, with only bathroom trips for me bringing anyone upstairs.

I donated to the local fireworks show this year, so I told DS we have to go watch for my firework. I also bought some stuff today for us to blow up. We haven't enjoyed a 4th of July in years, so we thought it might be fun. The town is having a big farmer's market and car show that day. Not sure how COVID safe that is so I plan to check it out early in the morning.

I turned down a fireworks invitation from some relatives that are not social distancing, so I will just be at home playing video games with my online friends.

DH's family always does a big party with fireworks. It is not my favorite thing to do, especially this year. It is going to be in the 90's and obviously, everyone should stay outside.

Nothing out of the ordinary. We may have junk food night at our house. Every 3 months or so, one night we eat a meal that consists of boxed, already prepared, pre-packaged food.
I'll probably end up working for some of the day.
DD1 is coming home from scout camp. She's not been sleeping well at night, so I think she'll come home and crash. Since the kids have been doing activities, and the cases are going up quite a bit in my county, we're not hanging out with the inlaws. I like them to much to risk getting them sick. We haven't been pokemoning latetly. Maybe I'll walk the girls?

During the day I will work on getting the exterior of my house painted. Then I will need to go over to Mom's and get her dinner for her. I told her we might BBQ some burgers for the 4th. Then I will probably just go to bed. I lead such an exciting life.

Nothing as DH will be helping paint the Sunday school rooms at church. I want him to put up our kiddie pool so I can get in it when it gets hot as predicted this week. I’ll be making BBQ ribs and fresh corn on the cob. Maybe a fruit salad or something yummy for dessert.

Yard work and sleep. The sleeping will be done outdoors so I can hide from DH and his phone.

My niece canceled her party. So, I'm thinking we will swim and watch Hamilton on repeat for the entire three day weekend.

Most likely nothing. We were invited to go 4 wheeling, but watching the weather.

We're just planning to stick close to home. DH has to work, so it'll be me & DD doing the grilling. Still, it'll be nice having a peaceful day at home. However, judging by how many illegal fireworks some neighbors have been setting off the last couple of weeks, I doubt the evening will be quiet...

I'm going to wash the windows because that Saharan Godzilla left a mess. Maybe some ironing. We're having cold boiled shrimp appetizer, grilled steak with corn on the cob, and watermelon. Probably watch a movie and listen to the neighbors blow up the world. Cat doesn't get too bothered about it, but a lot of folks have to heavily tranquilize their dogs. Bounds to be a couple of fires and a shooting or two. Alcohol, heat, humidity and testosterone make a volatile mix.

We might go to a friends place.
Take the jet skis for a ride. Swim.
Nothing big.
No fireworks around here.

there are usually Canada Day fireworks and concerts in the town across the river from me. I can see the fireworks perfectly from my dock, and as long as it's not windy, I can hear the concerts from my house.
I've "attended" Theory of a Deadman, the Tragically Hip, Kim Mitchell, the Trews, and a few other bands.
I miss the concerts.

Same here. Plan an early dinner, meds for the pup, retreat to the basement and turn on TV. Will have special treats (which she ignores when she is frightened). Fireworks make her tremble uncontrollably. Will probably do the same on Sat as well.

Nothing except hating the neighbor who insists on shooting fire works until midnight.

Finish recovering from the night of lost sleep from colonoscopy prep. Otherwise I will be home and trying to protect Lucy from the fireworks and try to keep her calm.
Most of the fireworks are cancelled. Some have cancelled to day due to a huge uptick in numbers of covid.

I typically close the windows, crank the A/C, and put on loud TV or a movie. there's no A/C here, so that's not an option. I'm hoping that I can close the windows if we just stay downstairs. the foundation is pretty thick and my fan is pretty loud.

I like to go see fireworks. Last year I went to an Atlanta Braves ball game and we saw fireworks afterwards (and during the game throughout the city). This year we are going to a shopping center in the town next to us where they shoot off fireworks. I saw online that last year they moved the location to allow for more parking and they were hard to see. The city said this year they got an upgraded package that will go off higher and allow for more people to see. I'm excited.

DBF and I both have to work. Boooooo.
I think his parents are grilling, but I’m not interested in going over there after work. Especially not if they’re having other guests. The couple of times we’ve had them over, it was outside. They have a sunroom that they don’t really use, but not an outdoor seating area. I’m still skeert of socializing with other people indoors, I might consider something outdoors. I’m pretty sure I’ll just go to work, come home, and stay home.
If I feel like I just have to have some BBQ, I can cook my own on my next day off work.

Plans? Surely you jest. Like @pinkcshmere, I'm too skeert to go anywhere, but it doesn't really matter because there's nowhere to go. DD got a thundershirt for Mollydolly; here's hoping it helps.
