UGH! Ads at the bottom of the page

I don't necessarily enjoy, or even like seeing ads when I surf the internet. But I understand the need for them and how they can be useful.

However, I am not liking the way that the ads at the bottom of the page, trick you into going to their website, when you had no intention to. (When I'm trying to respond to a post, on ym&m)

When I'm on my phone, I begin my response, then without warning, my keyboard disappears, causing me to hit the ad, instead of my keyboard.
I'm then taken to their website.

It's so annoying!

I hate it!

Is there a way to make it stop?

Has this happened to anyone else?

There are free ad blockers "out there"...try one of those.

Folks on other proboard boards use them.  I don't know about here, I don't have one cause the ads have never bothered me...I just ignore them.

It's not so much the ads that bother me. It's the fact that when I'm entering in my reply, it suddenly changes and I'm on a completely different website, I didn't choose, or expect.
Besides it taking me away from where I want to be, I start getting ads, based on me going to the site.
I find that annoying, and somewhat unethical.

I haven't checked to see if it's a problem on my PC. But I know it is on my phone.
