I imagine one or both of them will be charged after trump leaves office for obstruction of justice...or worse.
Both of them should be in prison.

Trump's reality show version of the LAW AND ORDER PRESIDENT. So sad the late night firing didn't go as planned, the rally tanked, and the fake news is reporting it all!

Interesting that Barr may finally be deciding that he's not going to throw himself under the bus for Trump anymore.
Giuliani was on the news this AM claiming that Trump fired Berman because Berman was doing 'bullshit' investigations. Like an investigation on Giuliani, Trump's personal lawyer and a private citizen, interfering with American politics with his work in the Ukraine.

In looking at the steps as they unfolded, it feels like Barr got played. I love that Berman walked into his office Saturday morning and physically possessed his territory, declaring it was still his. He forced Barr into negotiating terms to get him out. Then when he got what he obviously wanted, he walked out. Immediately. Deal done.

Guess Barr is getting a taste of what it is like to be in the Trump administration. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!

The weird thing is Barr had picked some other ( unqualified) guy to replace Berman, and Berman refused to leave. He waited until Barr agreed to appoint Berman’s second in command before he left.
Apparently replacing DAs in an election year is rare, normally you pick your appointments when you first take office, as POTUS.
Odd.
