It is a double edged sword. What teens can do to trump rallies they can also do to Biden rallies. Biden rallies? I believe there will be at some point, spacing and all.

Pink also made a comment about how she sold the same venue out in 5 minutes.

I read somewhere that this has been done to some extent for all Trump's rallies, and the Trump camp said that it doesn't matter because they give out more tickets than the venue can hold; it's first come, first served to actually be seated; and more people show up with tickets than there is room for, which is why Trump was planning on addressing the overflow crowd outside. If you consider that despite giving out 800,000 tickets about 9000 showed up, they didn’t even fill the arena. The thought that there would be extreme overflow for a second outdoor rally requires them to make preparations....that cost $$. But they didn’t even fill the 19,000 arena.....which means that not as many is as enamored with tRump as he thinks, or more are paying far more attention to social distancing guidelines than we thought. I did think it was f7nny that the party line was that protesters made it difficult for those with tickets to enter the arena. More lies. Fire department said 6200, so even less than 9000.

I just read something online where it was noted that based on the kids ordering tickets, the Trump campaign now has 500,000 people named Haywood Jablowmi in their database. I was filling out one of those biased Trump campaign surveys that pops up on my phone. It was all about the media not fairly reporting. I answered every question in the way the campaign would not want to hear. Then at the end it said is recorded my survey answers and asked for my contact information. I the phone number I put in my area code and then 722-4787 (see if you can figure out what I was spelling) (Was tempted to use 328-7448 but didn't want to be too crass) I couldn't continue further because to continue I had to donate.

There was a thread on Twitter about this. A piece in the NYTimes called it a prank, but they got called out on that as minimizing what was really activism.
Then it was pointed out the real damage to Trump's campaign - the TikTokTeens essentially made all the data collected (the point of the online ticket sign-up, getting true believers' contact data) worthless. The campaign can't effectively filter out the fake from the real, so should just junk it entirely.
If they used fake email addresses, when the campaign tries to mail to them the high number of fakes will trigger spam designation for the campaign mailing. If they used real emails and tag the campaign mailing as spam en masse, the campaign also gets on the spam designation list.
Plus, they didn't have a "I am over 18" button. Now the campaign has info on minors, in violation of some regulatory edict, too (COPPA).

Read somewhere yesterday, ticket or not, if one got to the arena in time, they were let in for the rally assuming they passed the medical check.

I think it is pretty safe to assume the "tickets" were bullshit if they let a million people get them. I don't think the kids reduced the number of people who showed up. But, the flood of unusable information definitely fooled the campaign. It is wasting a lot of their resources.
If the Zoomers can make their next trick blocking Fox news on all their Grandparent's cable box - I will buy them all a car!

The unlimited ticket availability was to allow for Trump braggadocio about how many wanted to attend. He got punked!

I do think it is quite interesting that they did not have more safeguards about signing up for tickets. Seems to me that this is just sloppy record keeping. I was reading an article about this in the Seattle Times and there was one woman who said she used a Google voice number in place of her cell phone when she signed up for tickets. Friends of her's actually used their cell phone numbers and apparently they have been blowing up their phones with texts from tRump.

And most of them were useless. The fact that some actually did give real names is going to make for an even bigger mess in trying to separate the wheat from the chaff. If you assume that 800,000 tickets were given away, you know that 6200 were legit. Say that 10% of the fake sign ups actually did use their real names and numbers... but in reality, I think that's high because they are normally smarter than that. They have to dig through 714K fake names on the list to find the legitimate ones. That's not something I'd want to do!

My sources used their real number, and then used "STOP" to opt out of further texts. That will be an easy way to get rid of people on their list, but they also might eliminate a real Trump supporter who just doesn't want to get a bunch of texts.

When I got online on Monday and saw that his lovefest was a complete dud I couldn't help but smile. Then I read this and ROFLMAO!
