It was a cute and charming video until the Viper got hold of it. Facebook (FB) on Friday removed a video posted by President Donald Trump's account that had twisted a viral video of two toddlers after one of the children's parents lodged a copyright claim. The video had more than 4 million views by the time Facebook took it down. The now-removed clip is a crude and misleading edit of a video that went viral last year which shows a Black child and a White child running to hug each other. The version posted to Trump's account made it first appear as if the Black child was running away from the White child. The version of the video tweeted and posted by Trump first showed a part of the viral video in which one of the boys was chasing the other, which had been overlaid with a fake CNN graphic that read, "Terrified todler [sic] runs from racist baby." Asked about the video Friday, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said she thought it was funny. www.cnn.com/2020/06/18/business/trump-video-twitter-manipulated-media/index.html

I would have liked to see the manipulated clip even though I still don't get Trump "humor". I'm glad one pf the child's parents was able to protect the clip, the kids, and the message.

"I think the president was making satirical point that was quite funny if you go and actually watch the video," McEnany responded. "The point was it was a play on CNN reportedly taking the repeatedly taking him out of context."www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/acosta-mcenany-spar-over-trumps-manipulated-cnn-tweet/ar-BB15JmeH?ocid=spartandhpWhat does that even mean? I was reading on a conservative website how she put him in his place. I'm trying to figure out how. I guess Trump supporters are so use to all the word salads that are spewed from this administration, it just doesn't matter.

I guess Trump supporters are so use to all the word salads that are spewed from this administration, it just doesn't matter. I don't know, but I'll try to puzzle it out. Everything for Trump is about him. So trump is apparently still mad at CNN about a video clip that CNN settled with a kid in a MAGA hat. Honestly I barely remember this video concerning a tribal elder, and what I do remember is it was kind of unclear then what it all meant. The kid sued because he believed he was harmed and Trump wants to make it about taking him out of context … because apparently since it was his supporter wearing his hat?... Yeah if you are logical it makes no sense, but if you can be sold on wiretapping some of Trump's employees for Russian interference is really magically wiretapping Trump to spy on his campaign, crap like this is right up your alley. Conservative supporters think she put him in his place simply because he wasn't in on the contrived joke. (I've read too many Paul OMG you don't know about this latest rabbit hole threads. Yikes. Somehow it makes me think of conservative molehills bedazzled in Trump gold.)
