The old: Check it out: In the second half of 2019 alone, Trump used the words "socialist" or "socialism" more than 100 times on Twitter or in speeches, according to the folks at Factbase. In January, he used the S-word 30 times -- in February, 34 times -- the equivalent of more than once a day.
Then things fell off a cliff: Trump invoked the bogeyman of socialism only four times in March, one time in April and a grand total of zero times in May. link The new: Trump warns ‘anarchists’ not to disrupt Tulsa rally,

Funny how the people who seem to fear these the most are the ones in areas that are least at risk...i.e. predominately white and rural.

The Republicans have used "fear" to win elections in the past. He's just trying to figure out what people are afraid of right now. Besides his inability to govern...

Unfortunately, a lot of us are afraid of the coronavirus. That is inconvenient for him, since he has moved past it, and bringing it up makes us talk about facts which do not paint him in a good light

I received a Republican Presidential Task Force Strategy Survey in today's mail. In addition to asking for financial and hourly help, it had a survey of almost 30 questions on my political stance, national issues, international issues and 2020 political campaign. Questions included 1. What 5 of 16 issues should he focus on in the coming months (none of the choices involved BLM)? 2. Do I support his stance on the wall? 3. Actions he can take in next 6 months to turn around the economy 4. Which country poses most threat to US ( Russia, North Korea, China, Iran, and other)? 5. Do I agree that China should be held accountable for Covid 19? etc, etc, etc. It was a great survey for fearmongering.

I used to get those due to choosing a GOP ballot in most primaries so I can have a voice on local offices. I'm pretty sure they didn't like my answers since I quit getting them...and I made sure to cover any markings that could ID me too. And they no longer include return postage either. This last primary, I requested a Democratic ballot...I got a nice request for help from Joe...volunteer or $$ if possible. And I was asked what my main concerns were & the return envelope also had postage on it. I thanked them for that.

It is funny when you think about it. They had the perfect campaign at the first of the year.....crazy socialist liberals. Maybe it's hard to do that when you are handing out $3T in bailouts.

Initially, I was having fun by using the Other category, changing the question like we do here, etc. The survey, however, had lots of identifiers (my name, my address, a specific polling number, ...) so I could be tracked and I had to pay the postage like Kadee mentioned. I also noticed that I was getting angrier as I read the questions. I couldn't decide if I wanted to be honest or dishonest in the answers, so I am exercising my right to ignore him. The questionnaire is now in the recycling bin.

The more upset I got as I went thru those "questionnaires"....the bolder I got with my replies. And yes, I paid the postage to send them back cause they made me that angry! I'm really glad I no longer get them...it helps save my sanity.

From socialist to the left wing mob. I'm sure that will satisfy his base who want everything to stay exactly the same. Just like the virus, he will continue to ignore this defining moment in our country and hope it will go away. "The unhinged left-wing mob is trying to vandalize our history, desecrate our monuments — our beautiful monuments - tear down our statues and punish, cancel and persecute anyone who does not conform to their demands for absolute and total control,” he said. “We're not conforming." www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/trump-paints-biden-as-hostage-of-the-left-as-he-tries-to-seize-initiative-in-tulsa

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free..." Or in some cases....just to breath?

Its basically his talking points after Charlotte. I think its important to include this from the url as well.
His speech laid out the campaign to come, painting Biden as a hostage to the radical Left and mapping the contours of America’s culture wars. He addressed recent protests and said the choice in November would be between those who wanted to bow before crazed mobs and those that wanted to stand up for American values.
He uses the radical Left as a way to marginalize those who want a more equal society. That's why he invokes crazed mobs and unfortunately the burning of Minneapolis and parts of other cities plays directly to his majority supporters fears.

I can see it potentially meaning a couple of things.
