So what I don't get is that Trump came from the NYC social scene, which includes artists, theater people, designers, etc. He never mentioned a problem with them until he needed to pander to the evangelicals. Don't they see they are being played? Well the claim is Trump repented and found Jesus. In reality I think they really do not give two shits what Trump actually believes so long as he does what they say. Apparently they choose to ignore the part of the Bible that warns against worshiping false idols. They are playing Trump like Trump is playing them. They find each other's lying and hypocrisy convenient. They aren't Christian so the only part of bible they seem to care about is seeing gay people as a sin against God. Religion is their club much like Amy Cooper wielded the OMG a black man is attacking me card. Being Christian is just a convenient fiction like Amy saying she was scared. Do they see they are being played? Yes. And they aren't going to him because this is the devil they wanted. I think their true religion is hate and looking down on enough others in hopes of making themselves feel OK. If they had a theme song, I think it would be- Jesus hates you this I know, because the Bible told me so...

There were still 3 in that 6-3 decision. Should be 0. Alito and Thomas were like, "ew, gays, ick." Kavanaugh said this is a matter to be addressed by congress, so it was more like 6-2-1. He knows damn well Congress wasn't going to address it. Hell, the Court said Congress needed to address voting rights and it's been, what, 4+ years now?

Trump is probably trying to figure out how to.fire Goursch as we speak. Funny that you mention this. Satire from The Borowitz ReportMitch McConnell Gently Tells Trump Why He Can’t Fire Neil GorsuchBy Andy Borowitz WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In an Oval Office meeting described as “tense,” the Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, explained to Donald J. Trump why he cannot fire Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch. According to sources, McConnell rushed to the White House after being informed of Trump’s plan to terminate Gorsuch and replace him with the Fox News host Jeanine Pirro. In the Oval Office, Trump adamantly told McConnell, “When I hire someone, I have the right to fire him if he turns out to be a jerk.” McConnell slowly and carefully explained that Supreme Court Justices are appointed for life, but Trump refused to accept this position. “I can fire this Neil Gorsuch joker just like I fired Jeff Sessions and Gary Busey,” Trump said, adding that he planned to add a ramp outside the Supreme Court to speed Gorsuch’s departure.
