Where is the Comforter in Chief? When is he going to stop being a Monday morning quarterback and start presidenting? So far from what I've read and seen on the news, he's gloating over the Space X launch and bad-mouthing every leader in every state that's struggling with protesters. Add to that the real possibility that all the crowds pushing and shoving are spreading their CoVid viruses around.
When I was a kid, I really thought that in 50 years we'd all be one homogenous society. When I got a little older, I really thought that in 50 years we'd all be one homogenous society. A little older and there were riots in Watts, and I really thought that in 50 years... When MLK was assassinated, I still thought that in 50 more years... Then there was Rodney King. I thought that would be the end of it. I was wrong.
What doesn't change? Lip service. It's all lip service, like with school shootings. A lot of talk in the beginning, then the next newsmaking event happens, the talk dies down then just goes away. Until the next time. Rinse and repeat.
MAGA? What? Again? Make America great again? We want to go back to the way things were, clueless/blind/tone deaf? They were only great for those who benefitted from white privilege, from money, from status. We aren't all created equal; we live in a caste system.
WTH is wrong with us?

He doesn't know how to comfort others. He only is capable of comforting himself, and frankly, he isn't very good at that either.
Next time, hopefully a real adult will be voted in as president. <sigh> I miss having leadership.

I just can't watch the news or go on facebook right now. Everyone seems stupid. Stupid cops, stupid violent protestors, stupid people who won't stay home or wear a mask. And all led at the top by the most stupid of all.

I just can't watch the news or go on facebook right now. Everyone seems stupid. Stupid cops, stupid violent protestors, stupid people who won't stay home or wear a mask. And all led at the top by the most stupid of all. lynn I watch too much of the news, but I step away and then turn on mindless TV. My brain bleeds, my heart hurts, it's too much! I think half of my FB friends have blocked me because I call them out for the lies they post. I don't really give a shit. |

I just deleted half of my FB friends. A dad I know through mutual friends and our sons soccer team went after me today after I made a FB comment 2 days ago. I won't be bullied.

Yeah, but unfortunately, his narcissism makes him believe what he has to say is more important... I see there's an upcoming presser. After this morning's yelling at governors and his usual from-the-shitter tweet storm, I can only imaging how the presser will go if they let him anywhere near a mic. Still shocked no one is talking about the massive data dumps that Anon has been doing. They've been pretty epic. |

Well I was right. trump read his flat-voiced speech off of a teleprompter and which was written by someone else for him. trump used words like 'wanton' and 'quell' which just are not in his very limited vocabulary. |
