In regards to "supposedly" what the CDC has set as guidelines for opening schools? It was supposedly a summary of the CDC, but it was very twisted and has caused mass panic on FB. I asked for the associated link for FACTS!!
People need to stop creating fear with false info!!

I'm avoiding FB. Firms use it to spread misinformation or information for political campaigns. If people are panicking, odds are that's the intention of whoever created it. And to discredit the CDC.

I saw it, followed by a bunch of comments about switching to private or home-schooling. I take everything on FB with a grain of salt.

I'll have to go check a community face book group that Trolls took over about a month ago. If there's a meme that everyone is sharing - it will show up on that group. (I stopped following the group after the coup d'etat happened. )

Always a good sign when words in the title are misspelled!
Or poor punctuation - "kid's" in the above one

I get why people don't want to wear masks, or follow any of the guidelines. What I don't get is why they are so aggressively trying to convert people to their thinking. How are they being harmed by me wearing a mask?

How about: Stagger arrival and drop-off times or locations by cohort or put in place other protocols to limit contact between cohorts and direct contact with parents as much as possible. link That is what the guidelines state. ABC 33/40 News said "kid's".

How are they being harmed by me wearing a mask? Yes, I am confused about folks who talk about "the land of the free" while attacking me for wearing a mask which I feel is my freedom. Ditto the folks who attack me for choosing not to visit a restaurant. Oh wait, I'm not a patriot or a Christian because I don't trust in America or God to save me! I'm sort of really seriously tired of humans at this point.

And if they can convince a critical mass of people, then society will change its mind and they won't be wrong anymore. Same as anti-vaxxers- if they don't vaxx, whatever, but they have to preach so I also don't vaxx, why do they care if my kid get poisoned/cancer/autism/chipped and tracked. Because a lot of people either give in to peer pressure, or have to rage against it loudly. They can't just do their own thing and leave everyone else alone.

Your comment revealed another commonality of Trump followers - their insecurity mirrors his (or vice versa). I've been trying to figure out how we Americans have basically divided into 2 opposing ideologies, looking for how one picks a side, what's the difference, and all I'd previously come up with was Selfish vs Thinks About Others. This adds another idea to consider...Insecure In Own Beliefs vs Not Threatened by Others Doing Things Differently.

How the heck would i know why these people do what they do?
