I just saw a political ad for Trump. Ugh! Has anybody else seen any yet? I wonder if Trump considers AZ a swing state.

The ones here are going on about China and Biden and how he would have and will kill people.
Paraphrasing of course.

Yup. We're getting Trump commercials here, too. I've got them on "ignore".

Not yet. I don't watch local channels though. Maybe that is helping?

No, we don't walk away. But when we're holding on to something precious, we run.

I'm getting anti trump (and presumably pro Biden) commercials already. They start with covid responses stuff. I hit mute as fast as I can.

I've seen some here in NY. They took every 3 sec positive about Trump clip they could find, and mashed them together. E.g., Cuomo diplomatically thanking Trump. Unfortunately, it went on too long, and came across as trying too hard, way too hard, so the effect was more comedic than patriotic. The ones I'm already tired of are the Republicans fighting for the NY 27 seat/nomination. It's been sitting empty too long after Collins pled guilty to insider trading and belatedly resigned. The long delayed election was delayed again when Covid-19 hit. Hopefully we get to vote in June to fill the seat temporarily until another election in November. But the June vote is also the primary for the November election, so some are both running for the seat now AND the primary for November. Several are touting Trump endorsements and trying to hit all the R trigger points in their ads (wall, 2A, pro life, MAGA...).

It's wonderful.

I had turned it on to watch the local news and, within 5 minutes, I saw that commercial. The Senate race commercials, which have been going on for a while, don't bother me.

I have to laugh....
I got a call from the Republican committee asking me if I would contribute $600 to the campaign. I asked them if they planned on paying my mortgage since my husband just got laid off and who knows when we'd get unemployment considering the clusterf&%$ everything is. They hung up on me, and haven't called since then.
LOL......house is paid off, and if we wanted to, we could have.
I call this a win!

I'm in a super blue state, so probably no ads for awhile. All ads currently are for local elections for the primary.

I got one of those "President Trump's Coronavirus Guidelines for America" postcards back in April. So, yeah, even with limiting my exposure to political media - I had a political ad for Trump delivered to my door.

I am expecting to receive a check with Trump's name on it along with a letter from him sometime toward the end of July.

We hardly ever get presidential ads. We have been seeing some local races, all of them candidates pictures wearing hunting vests, toting shot guns, bragging about how they want to get rid of all the deranged dems. Lucky us, the GOP candidates seem to be fighting amongst themselves to see who can be the most like Trump.

Our state is so blue that the last republican candidate for governor was pro choice and pro gay marriage. However it is still a very divided state between the democratic big cities and the very conservative rural areas. There are just a lot more people in the big city.
