No, we don't walk away. But when we're holding on to something precious, we run.

We've bought some cables so dh can use the home monitors with his laptop for a larger screen.
I'm ordering/buying beach towels but all of ours are old and need to be replaced.
We were trying to find a Spiderman movie and assumed it'd be on Disney+ so we have a 1 year paid subscription to that now. We've watched 2 movies on it so far. And Spiderman movies aren't part of Disney+ so we'll still need to get that one somewhere else.

Since I can't find a weight set to save my life, I just ordered resistance bands from Amazon. I'm doing a fitness challenge and I hope this gets me working out more. I've been a little lazy.

Besides the normal food stuff, I haven't ordered too much. I did purchase a new lawn tractor late in April. I probably would've been tempted to just keep paying a lawn service, but since I'm home it's a lot simpler for me to do it. I also made a few good purchases right before the pandemic, so I got lucky.
-I upgraded my home gym in December and bought new weights/barbell, TRX bands, bands, and floor mats. -I bought life insurance in Feb, apparently it's more expensive now and harder to qualify for. -I happened to stock up on cleaning supplies in early March, so was good on bleach, cleaning spray, wipes, etc.

Purchased my friends new book on-line with delivery instead of picking it up at her in store reading. Not sure the in store reading will take place. She did a virtual reading/discussion of her book. Supported the semi local independent bookstore. Name of book and subject matter/genre? There are readers who need to know! The Heebie Jeebie Girl . Fiction. Based in Youngstown Ohio in the late 70's.

And I am not proud of it.... Makes me think of my 91 year old father. He still buys it.

I bought some hair dye from Madison Reed. I've never dyed it before, but had been thinking about it. The purchase was more out of boredom than anything. I also got a gel manicure 3 days before things started shutting down here. I bought an led lamp so I could do them on my own once it was clear I couldn't go back. But that is partially from me being cheap. I will go through phases where i get 3-4 manicures and pedicures and then I stop because I want to spend money elsewhere.
I have started getting my pizza delivered instead of going to pick it up. This is doubling the cost. Where I could get a large carry out for 8-9 bucks I now have 3.50 delivery fee, and usually tip 5 dollars. I get delivery now to keep from having to go into a tiny place packed with people waiting.

I grew up in the 80s and I remember a campaign about how it was made of "pork shoulder and ham". In my family we used to add tails, snouts, etc... lol
