Can't you deposit via the app at home? That's how I do any paper checks I get. My credit union limits the check size to under $1500 for mobile deposit. I'll have to check with mine. I have CACU. Nobody really writes me paper checks and certainly not large amounts, so that may also be the case for my bank and I just don't know about it. |

yes, some. the P&S proceeds arrived late yesterday via check - what I was depositing today. the rest of the proceeds will be wired over, likely tomorrow. I am home now, just opened a bottle of bubbly to celebrate the baby step with my friend K. cheers! Can't you deposit via the app at home? Congrats on the house sale! Drinks that champs!
It's Thursday so I am "allowed" (per my personal rule) to drink tonight. I am also hosting a Zoom trivia night for my community, so will maybe just have a glass of wine. Or make a vodka drink. Hubsie and I were walking around town yesterday with some homemade masks, seeing if anyone we saw had enough at home (I'm on council, he's on our emergency management team) and a buddy gave us a water bottle full of vodka. Yay!

But for inquiring minds, I decided that the williamsbirne (clear neutral but potent liquor with an actual pear grown inside the bottle) was the closest thing to vodka I had. Too smooth to add lime to...actually it wound up layering on top of the Sprite and that seems about right.  |

a HS classmate of mine invited me to join a town group with "Wineboozled" in the title. basically, you put together a boozy care package for someone else, and ding dong ditch it on their front steps. you list your address (which I wouldn't if this wasn't temporary...) and what you like, and wait. I dropped off a pair this am, which by their reaction posts I managed to perfectly nail.  but I also got myself a new treat, may become my go-to this summer. one of the baskets wanted spiked seltzers, and I didn't want to just throw in a case of cheap gross Truly. so I accepted a recommendation from an employee that watched me wander the aisles for a little while. he said this stuff tasted the closest to actual fruit of the selection, and not at all fake like Truly, for instance. I picked up a grapefruit cardamom for the basket, and the blood orange chili for myself. I'm not a grapefruit fan, but the rest of the flavors sound pretty tasty as well. Press |
