JFK's Postmaster General lived two blocks away from where I grew up. He (Larry O'Brien) was also dental patient of my dad's.

Not good. The Trump administration has made clear that they are NOT a fan of the post office. He'll probably be another Betsy DeVos, and do his best to dismantle the postal service. After all, we wouldn't want an honest election, complete with mail-in ballots, would we?

Coincidentally I walked into the office to ask dad something and O'Brien happened to be in the chair. I knew O'Brien by sight so I asked him if we could have tickets to JFK's innauguration. The moment I said it, dad said "No. We are not going to go even if we get tickets." That was the end of that.

We need to save the post office IMO. I guess its time for a rallying cry.
Vote him out! Vote him out!

Wouldn't a new President get to install a new Post Master general? What kinds of changes can this guy implement in a year? What does he get for having been on the Government payroll (even if he gets ousted in less than a year)?? Is Trump "repaying" his staunch supporters with Taxpayer money
