I just caught this thread. Amazing pics Reminds me of National Geographic magazine quality pictures. Close ups really capture the birds. Great job!

Lizard Queen - thank you very much! I spend a lot of time out there, lol. I recently decided to upgrade my lens from a 100-400mm to a 150-600mm. I've gotten some decent shots with it, but they weren't as sharp as I thought they should be, even allowing for operator error. So I sent both lenses and my body in to the lens manufacturer to have them professionally calibrated under warranty. Haven't gotten to play with it since it all got back on Wed, but here are a few I took before that. hooded merganser juvenile red-tailed hawk bald eagle Have you exhibited in any of the Wildlife shows? Local or well known?

These are lovely. It's amazing how many different birds you've captured.

Thank you TheOtherMe and valuebuy. 🙂 Opt4CoolCars , no. I'm not that good yet. Got a long ways to go before I feel confident enough for anything like that. I don't know where you live, but by me there used to be a local wildlife show every year hosted by one of the wildlife refuges. If you aren't ready to try, I'd recommend going to shows and talking to people or at least what's selling. Your photography interests are close to mine, however, I always wanted to do extreme closeups of flowers and beneficial insects, frogs and the like. Or see if you can exhibit your art at a local library or store that showcases local artists.
