Tell me trump did not complain that Obama left him broken tests at today’s press conference. I just can’t anymore. He is like a toddler who will blame an invisible person for his mistakes. How is it possible we elected such a miserable person president

How is it possible we elected such a miserable person president I don't know about today but trump said it yesterday. How could Obama leave broken covid-19 test kits behind seeing Covid-19 wasn't discovered until late 2019-early 2020. Obama left office January, 2017.

How is it possible that 30-40% of people trust everything he says? Even when it’s this stupid.

This is a new virus for Christ sakes. Nobody knew about it 6 months ago! He’s been president over 3 years! Is anything his administration’s fault? Sorry, I think I reached the end of my rope

He's been doing that right along. Also said it's Obama's fault there were respirators that didn't work. Never mind trump's administration didn't keep up the maintenance contracts for the ones that were in the emergency stockpile.
But he said it. Therefore, it's so.

You could at least argue about the ventilators since they were obtained under Obama, but the virus didn’t infect humans until 6 months ago. Sorrry, this is upsetting me

Can't argue about the ventilators, either. If the maintenance had been done, they'd have been usable.
It upsets me, too. The whole sorry mess upsets me. We'd still have had the coronavirus, but we'd have had a whole lot better handle on it if trump hadn't been so anxious to dismantle any- and everything remotely connected to Obama. And, of course, if he'd paid a bit of attention to the legions of people giving him heads up warnings.

He is a true leader....take no responsibility for anything that goes wrong and lay the blame on someone else. And it really helps his cause if he can mention Obama or Hillary. His fans adore that trait.
The Party of Trump must be so proud!

I don't understand conspiracy theorists. If Obama was smart enough to predict COVID-19 and deliberately leave broken tests that have gone undetected for years. .. well then the Trump administration is still full of idiots.
If it is not true and we have broken tests because pride dictated that we do not accept tests from the WHO .. .then the Trump administration is still full of idiots.
I want some of whatever these idiots are smoking because it's clearly very good.

Or the exceedingly loose money policies pushed by Greenspan that coupled with such Bush supported items such as 2003’s Zero Down Payment Act and the non regulatory oversight of sub prime loans packaged as top graded MBS that led to the mortgage/housing crash that had millions foreclosed out of their homes and created near total world wide economic collapse?

I’m just glad Bush didn’t get blamed for anything that wasn’t relevant to his administration. What a terrible burden that would have been for him to bear.

Right. If Obama left office in January 2020 knowing a virus was hitting other parts of the world yet did nothing to prepare us for the possibility we'd get hit with it, and then Trump took office and a month or two later it hits, there would be a credible argument to shift some of the blame backward.
Considering Trump's always talking about creating jobs by revitalizing the manufacturing sector, it's a shame HE didn't encourage them to rebuild the emergency stockpile and produce masks and other PPE, put people to work providing routine maintenance on stockpiled ventilators, etc. Unlike Obama, who was always wrestling with Republicans over needed spending, Trump didn't support more spending, he supported a tax cut!
Even here on the Left Coast I see and hear people going to each other's houses and visiting/partying. Even high risk adults are doing this, because at first they believed it was all a left-wing hoax. Now they say it's all overblown because they don't know anyone who has gotten sick from COVID-19, the "cure is worse than the illness," it's not even that bad because the flu is worse, no big deal, it's in God's hands, etc.
I bet even my anti-vax relatives on the East Coast who are compliant with stay at home orders won't get a vaccine when it becomes available. As usual, they'll rationalize that they don't need to because everyone else is doing it.
When did it become okay to discredit science?

Gilead and Handmaid’s Tale come to mind. The future they all desire.
They are a Christian Taliban ignoring the teachings of Jesus (New Testament) to use the Biblical Law of the Old Testament in some sort of bizarre patriarchal dominion that bears no resemblance to what Jesus would want. Very dangerous, secretive movement. That mini series on The Faith will scare anyone that doesn’t want to live in the United States of Americastan.

No need to start another dumb-ass, vindictive move by trump. The little boy is angry again. Trump Moves to Replace Watchdog Who Identified Critical Medical ShortagesWASHINGTON — President Trump moved on Friday night to replace a top official at the Department of Health and Human Services who angered him with a report last month highlighting supply shortages and testing delays at hospitals during the coronavirus pandemic. The White House waited until after business hours to announce the nomination of a new inspector general for the department who, if confirmed, would take over for Christi A. Grimm, the principal deputy inspector general who was publicly assailed by the president at a news briefing three weeks ago. The nomination was the latest effort by Mr. Trump against watchdog offices around his administration that have defied him. In recent weeks, he fired an inspector general involved in the inquiry that led to the president’s impeachment, nominated a White House aide to another key inspector general post overseeing virus relief spending and moved to block still another inspector general from taking over as chairman of a pandemic spending oversight panel. Mr. Trump has sought to assert more authority over his administration and clear out officials deemed insufficiently loyal in the three months since his Senate impeachment trial on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress ended in acquittal largely along party lines. While inspectors general are appointed by the president, they are meant to be semiautonomous watchdogs ferreting out waste, fraud and corruption in executive agencies. The purge has continued unabated even during the coronavirus pandemic that has claimed about 65,000 lives in the United States. Ms. Grimm’s case in effect merged the conflict over Mr. Trump’s response to the outbreak with his determination to sweep out those he perceives to be speaking out against him. Her report, released last month and based on extensive interviews with hospitals around the country, identified critical shortages of supplies, revealing that hundreds of medical centers were struggling to obtain test kits, protective gear for staff members and ventilators. Mr. Trump was embarrassed by the report at a time he was already under fire for playing down the threat of the virus and not acting quickly enough to ramp up testing and provide equipment to doctors and nurses.
