No, it was not a company (Honeywell) soundtrack. The White House was responsible for that. ETA: There is no music in that building (or any others at the site) during production. Sorry - just saw this. You answered my questions. Only to add more questions. Why would Trump's people chose this? What are they trying to convey? Is it supposed to be a libertarian anthem about being allowed to do what you want?

No clue why the music was chosen. While I wasn't in the room at the time (not that much of a big wig), I heard from one of the attendees that the music that was played sounded like it was on someone's IPOD and put in the shuffle mode.
From this experience, I now understand why a tarp covered the USS McCain when Trump visited Japan last year.

It's been implied, in one of the articles I saw, that it was trump's soundtrack. So now I'm wondering if he's going to get a cease and desist letter from whatever band was performing it.

I REALLY am hoping Trump will at some point use this in a video.

I saw a video of it yesterday, from someone who attended (I guess). I wasn't sure why there was music. It didn't seem like it was when he was walking or being introduced. Someone was talking to him about the masks, and they were inspecting one. Was it just that music is always on in the factory (true) or was this chosen by one of Trump's people, or did an anti-Trump guy just play it and no one stopped him? So weird. Weird and trump go hand-in-hand.

Paul McCarthy and Linda McCartney wrote the song and it was sung by Wings for one of the James Bond movies. Later on, Guns N' Roses did a cover version of it.

But he insisted Wednesday that he did, in fact, wear a mask during his Arizona visit -- but not when the cameras were around.
"I had a mask on for a period of time," Trump said in the Oval Office on Wednesday. "I had it on back -- backstage.

Of course he didn't. Idiot didn't also unequivocally say he would get vaccinated. If you are that unsure, why the push for a vaccine, asshole. pulmonarymd this is all about distancing. NOT physical/social distancing, but more importantly in the orange spray-painted opinion distancing in the political sense. He is dismantling his task force, pushing all responsibilities on state and local governments (after robbing them blind for his "federal stockpile", has blamed Obama for leaving broken tests, and whatever else I am forgetting. He distances himself from all failures of his administration. Now it is time to claim victory and go back to tweeting how everything is falling apart without his input.
I just can't believe there are still people who are unwilling to see the damage he has caused to this country. I can only hope he'll be kicked out in November but he is a sitting president and that is hard to overcome.

Here is more: "I had a mask on for a period of time," Trump said in the Oval Office on Wednesday. "I had it on back -- backstage. But they said you didn't need it, so, I didn't need it. And by the way, if you noticed, nobody else had it on that was in the group." Whether this is a lie or not, why say it? How does sound anything but bad? "I was wearing one before the camera started rolling but I was told I didn't need it. Not my fault. I was just doing what someone told me to do."

I agree, and if he gets re-elected, we deserve everything than happens to us

From this experience, I now understand why a tarp covered the USS McCain when Trump visited Japan last year. Can you elaborate? Last Wednesday, Trump publically announced he was coming to Phoenix. Thursday, secret service and WH staff were on site inspecting the areas and creating punch lists for the facility to implement. Then they communicated to those in DC. Rinse and repeat on Friday and Saturday. The punch lists were all to make sure that he was safe and happy and the 70-year old buildings were spruced up as much as possible. Examples… an event HVAC unit was installed to ensure that the huge building where the event occurred was cooled to 70 degrees instead of to 90 degrees, a loudspeaker system was brought in (hence the music), the entrance where the WH personnel and press walked was patched and painted (this entrance will go down to studs next week), and site personnel present or working at the event were asked to wear an “uniform.” Since Thursday and especially during the end of the event, the WH strongly influenced/controlled the site. Procedures were not followed: safety shoes and masks were not consistently worn by DC personnel, the Covid-19 measures were put on hold/altered for them, and knives and guns were allowed on site. During the event, approximately 1,000 people were instructed to stay within their buildings and deliveries were delayed/rerouted. The site does far more than make N95 masks, but a good portion of those activities were discontinued or limited yesterday. I estimate that 70-80% of what people saw on tv was “fake”. Note – I do not disagree with the actions at all. After all, the POTUS came to the site. If his staff asks for something, of course the site is going to do it… it’s due to the respect for the position.

Yeah, my Mom and I had a discussion some months back about respect for the POTUS vs respect for trump and how they're 2 different things.

WH security (so it is understandable, but against the site's rules).

WH security (so it is understandable, but against the site's rules). That makes sense. Thanks for all the info.
