I don't have a link, but I read it in the N.Y. Times online.
So much for Conservatives having to "buckle up buttercup" when he went on trial.

Cohen, like many other convicts to be freed due to the virus, will first have to spend 14 days in prison controlled isolation to ensure he is free of the virus.

Michael Cohen Is Among Prisoners to Be Released Because of VirusPresident Trump’s former lawyer and other inmates at a minimum-security camp in upstate New York were told they would serve their sentences at home. Michael D. Cohen, the disgraced former lawyer for President Trump, was among some of the inmates at a federal prison camp in upstate New York who were told they would be released into home confinement because of concerns about the spread of the coronavirus, several defense lawyers said on Friday. The expected releases come about three weeks after Attorney General William P. Barr, who oversees the Bureau of Prisons, ordered a review to determine who among the country’s nearly 144,000 federal inmates could safely be furloughed to home confinement as the pandemic worsened. A week later, Mr. Barr directed prison officials to move more aggressively and expanded the criteria under which inmates could be released. According to the prison agency’s website, nearly 1,200 prisoners have been — after a required 14-day quarantine. The prison camp inmates set to be released upstate were serving sentences at a minimum-security camp that is attached to a medium-security federal prison and detention center in Otisville, about 75 miles northwest of New York City. Yes, the context is early release of non-violent convicted criminals during a pandemic.

So you had no point. Non-violent offenders are being released all over the country because of the pandemic. The belief is that their offenses are not worthy of a potential death sentence, and to decrease the possibility of a disaster with widespread infection in prison. Do you disagree with that position?

Not context, weirdness. I think I remember reading that post and it concerned the fact that Cohen would not be the only one convicted. He's still convicted, still has a criminal record. He got lucky as did many because of the virus and they get to serve out the remainder of their sentence at home.
