Gosh, I hate Trump some days.... I'm never really sure if he just uses those charged words for fun and entertainment (which is soooo wrong) or if he really means them (which is also soooooo wrong). I'm pretty sure this is proof of "evilness" because I don't think he can fall back on the "oh! I didn't know those were charged words!" that would excuse someone who was naive or not in the know. The man is in the know. Which makes him evil in my book.

OMG, no kidding! Last night I saw a poll on the local NextDoor group, asking if we agree with Cuomo's new order to wear masks out in public. Over 300 had voted, 91% agree to 9% disagree, but about 3 guys had to argue, over and over and over about how much they hated it, libs trying to control them, etc. Everyone else was sensible, why wouldn't you wear a mask to protect others...but those 3 guys just kept ranting and attacking based on politics.

My daughter was arguing with her older brother about being an organ donor. She said if she had to die, why shouldn't other people have to die also. Son's come back was classic. He told her no one would want her dried up, shriveled up heart anyway. I should point out she was five years old at the time (he was seven). She grew out of that thinking. Some don't.

Let conservatives get out there! Have a big Trump rally! Stand up for your rights! The rest of us with common sense will continue to act responsibility.
I mean, think about it, what the hell happened to conservatives? I thought they were the party of responsibility. They can't spend money fast enough. $2 freaking trillion dollars +, when they wouldn't spend a $1 during the financial meltdown.

And why would taking a stance on guns control be impossible to pass off ? Gun control advocates use 'safety' as a verbal tool. Liberate from onerous restrictions seems quite reasonable.

You can’t possibly be that dense, so you are obviously trolling. You know what they were protesting about. Trump is just throwing gasoline on the fire, and you seem to support it

Say something that gets your message across to the target audience but gives space for deniability when confronted.

Means he is not willing to have a serious discussion about the subject. Also allows you to later claim you did not agree with something so obviously wrong

This seems to be Michigan, judging from the Recall Whitmer sign I see in the background. I think it's more about the government infringing on the inalienable right to buy seeds.

And go out on a lake in a motorboat. Nevermind the fact here in southern Michigan, it snowed the very day of this protest, plus a few other days this week. No one in their right mind would go out on a motorboat in those temperatures. Or start planting a garden.

Another cousin of mine, a nurse for 40 years, is currently working the covid wing of her hospital. She is scared and tired from long work days with no time off. My cousin posted this on Facebook. While no doctor or hospital would honor or respect the wishes of the signer below, it does represent the sentiments of quite a few hospital workers.

In my state, and I assume others, there is a weird mix of protestors. Some are just small business owners who think we can open things up and still protect everyone. They are wearing masks and staying 6 feet apart. Then there are the anti government conspiracy folks who are much more vocal and social distancing be damned.

Question for everyone.
If you were in charge of opening your state, what are the industries that have the highest reward and the lowest risk, so those should be open first?

Good question, but I can't even begin to answer it. I've been a good girl and stayed home so I don't really know what is actually closed. I'm also not a real fan of how industries deemed essential have comported themselves. Some have dragged their feet on implementing even the most minor changes. Perhaps we should switch to a job by job approach.

the only thing that seemed odd to me is that there is only about 20% graft in the bill, rather than 50% for the last one.
