of the coronavirus response? There's an oped in this morning's NYT. If I had a clue about posting a link, I'd do it. Donald Trump + Jared Kushner. Dumb and Dumber. Only question is when they’ll actually clash because they’re equally sociopathic, egomaniacal, narcissistic. There’s only room for one in that world. They can't both be the smartest guy in the room.

I saw something on twitter last night - where he says Federal stockpile is supposed to be our stockpile. It's not supposed to be used by the states - or something stupid like that.

Someone had replied - Put your son in law in charge of the car dealership franchise, not the pandemic response.

When asked about the federal government's response to states that have requested shipments from the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS), Kushner—a former real estate developer with no medical background—suggested states and the residents and healthcare professionals fighting the coronavirus pandemic are not entitled to the use of the government-funded stockpile of medical equipment.



"The notion of the federal stockpile was it's supposed to be our stockpile," Kushner told the press. "It's not supposed to be state stockpiles that they then use."

Kushner did not elaborate on what the federal government might use the stockpile for if not to supply the public with the equipment in the event of a national health crisis. According to the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, the SNS is "designed to supplement and resupply state and local inventories of medicines and supplies during emergencies severe enough to exhaust local supplies."

Unbelievable, you can't make this up

Instead of complaining and risking Trump's wrath, they sent it to a company in the Bay Area to fix them and send them back to LA .

They are also refurbishing 500 ventilators held by the state.
