I doubt we will see that poster return to answer the questions asked as pertains his reasoning. Just another hit and run with the trollmobile at full speed. Nah ....sorry still here you know some of us are still working...I talked with alot of seniors their main interest in a president is their ss checks and medicare....welfare queens need I say more....college kids well look at the popularity of Bernie free free free they haven't done a damn thing and want to sick on the nation's tit So you think Trump doesn’t want cuts in SS? BTW I still work running my 37 rental units. I don’t need the check....it’s good wine and greens fee and Medicare plus supplements when Donnadub retires later this year. You still have yet to offer any thoughtful reason and what seniors tell you isn’t relative to that. ] Using “welfare queens” simply exposes your ignorance in that arena and really offers no explanation other than a blunt right wing point. Was hoping for something with a bit more intellectual depth. I mean if you are depriving the abused woman in my example her right to vote you should have a reason other than it appears you think she deserved it. And students? Because some of them have different politics than you they should be stripped of Constitutional rights? I see the rising fascism in Trump’s minions. Your loaf had been left in the sun too long. Therefore any hope I had (didn’t really) is now gone. You have entered the rabbit hole. br]

That put alot of people to work and.....?hey I'm saying this about myself also when I hit ss age...I know I will be the one who will take care of the bennies speaking as a corporate executive, I can tell you without hesitation that I had very little to do with my own success. I was lucky, opportunistic, resourceful, and had good connections.
I made my money off my workers. for every dollar I paid them, I made some fraction of a dollar that I could pocket. I owe them everything I have. if every executive thought as I do, they would pay them a living wage, so that they could enjoy a middle class life. and in turn, they would buy the products that my customers (I run B2B businesses, exclusively) produce, which turns right back into hiring which makes me more money, which gets them higher pay, etc.
the virtuous cycle is based on consumption and the worker. not me. I am a leech. but I try to be as equitable about it as I can. the average CEO makes $150k. I have never made that. instead, I pay people more than they can get on the open market, and I ask them to perform better than the average worker, by showing up on time, doing good quality work, and not complaining too much when the work gets hard.
half a century ago, the way I operate was the norm. now the norm is Starbucks, and candidly, it bites.

Republicans should use that as their campaign theme! If old people want to vote, they need to get out and work 100 hours a week, pay their own health insurance! Why do they expect everything to be free! Those damn seniors need to quit sucking off the nations tit!
I think you should call Trump's campaign manger with your idea!

Our MIL tenant paid this morning using Zelle. She is a schoolteacher currently out but fully paid. Two other tenants at duplexes are military so ok. I guess we’ll be finding out in the next few days how bad it might be. Our combined LTV is under 15% so no mortgage worries at all. The PM’s will work with everyone. There will be no evictions unless there is some bad apple issue over it all. But my preference is -0-.

It's actually NOT a good idea. The vast majority of legal voters are idiots, and most of them likely have no idea what a vote for any candidate actually means in terms of their ability to govern because they choose who to vote for based on media/sound bites/etc. This is precisely how Trump got elected in the first place.

No one should be allowed to vote except Steve in Duluth, MN. There's a lot riding on this election, Steve. Don't eff it up. I read a sci-fi short story many years ago. Every year, one citizen would be selected at random, answer a bunch of questions, and the election results would be determined by his/her answers. Saved a lot of money and effort by avoiding campaigns. It may have been by Isaac Asimov.

You could argue that the more money the lower and middle classes get, the more money gets spent back in the economy. As opposed to the money the big corporations, who tend to pay down their debt when they get extra money. (The myth that big corporations will always hire more people when they get more cash is just that - a myth. Just look at what they did with Trumps's big tax break.)

if people are not spending money, corporations won't hire.
if you trust me on nothing else, trust me on this: I don't want to have ONE more person than I need. ever.

When Donnadub’s book club read Evicted I had to read it. Been a landlord for 44 years now. It was sick. Almost like the landlords were addicted to evicting these poor people. Eviction is costly here in Seattle. Probably drop 3 months rent, then serving fees, then court which means lawyer if the tenant doesn’t move in the interim. Then they can still live there to the bitter end before the sheriff’s department sends somebody out. VERY costly when all is said and done. I’m quite prideful that in 44 years, and never less than 13 units, I have had only 3 judicial evictions. One went wack, moved a guy and dogs in, and refused to pay rent. Second was a single mom and there were indications of cocaine use. Snorted the rent money. Third was a domestic, guy in jail, ran out of money. My $7000 judgement was worthless. Much better to work with people.

You haven’t researched shit yet you want to remove her right to vote. You are un -American and showing some dangerous tendencies.

When someone has gone down that slippery slope they rarely stop until they’re done. That we have so many Un Americans and anti Americans now is worse than Covid-19 long term.

I am college educated, have been a C suite exec for over 10 years, and am now on unemployment. Only time in the 30 yrs I have been working. My company was purchased and my position was eliminated. For the last 3 months I have busted my ass searching for jobs all day/everyday, gone on probably 30+ interviews. I didn't want to file unemployment, but since I have paid into the system for 30 years, I did. I receive the max amount. $370/week. Not even $10/hr When I have been paying high level taxes, SS, and unemployment on my 6 figure salary for over 15 years!! My friends who lost jobs in the hospitality industry are receiving $140/week. They can't live off that. We all want to get back to work. Don't assume all people who are unemployment are trying to use the system and suck off the govt teet!

Oh please Ednkris. Would you ever want to spend a bit of time ferreting out the truth instead of thinking “FOX news is the only truthful media” and then watching it until your brain turns into vanilla pudding?
The massive tax cuts for the 1% and America’s multinational corps did the well documented following: 1. Repatriated off shore funds at a special 10% tax rate. 2. Slashed corporate taxes to levels unseen. 3. Drove stock prices up as the corps spent a vast majority of the tax savings buying back stock. 4. With higher stock prices, the execs stock options skyrocketed, and if they were smart enough, they cashed in at the much lower high bracket tax rates. 5. This, of course, enabled deficit growth in excess of Obama, which sucks as B. Hussein’s was lifting us out of a very serious Repo-Con Crash, which created the Tea Party hypocrisy (considering BushCo. Had doubled the debt and Reagan had tripled it) and when times are good the debt should be paid DOWN. You Repo-Cons no longer care once again. 6. Now those stock gains are gone and we need even more deficit spending, especially since your hero mangled the covid-19 response so badly thousands more pro-life Americans will die in his personal pandemic genocide. 7. More jobs were created under Obama in his last 3 years that Trump in his first three. 8. The B. Hussein market vastly outperformed Trump’s and you don’t even know that. 9. What you do know is a bunch of BS fed to you by your cult leader and his state media apparatchiks. If you didn’t suck so bad over your vote stealing fascist crapola I could almost feel sorry for you.
So there you have it. The real truth, easily verifiable. Do you have a teenager in the house that knows how to google?

It now seems that the Federal is stepping back from the battle and letting States be the first line of defense...basically the top virus professionals don't understand or seem to agree with the Donald...seems a scism is happening berween the professionals and our Donald.. {just what we/the country needs...and the man feels he deserves another term...Zowee } ====================================== "Some of the president’s health advisers in recent days have argued that restrictions on social interaction and economic activity that have shut down much of the nation need to be expanded to all 50 states and that more Americans need to adopt them. Trump, by contrast, has characterized the crisis as generally limited to hot spots like New York, California and Michigan and has expressed no support for a nationwide lockdown. “I would leave it to the governors,” he said on Friday.""As hospitals cope with shortages of medical equipment, the administration on Friday also rewrote the federal government’s stated mission for its stockpile of supplies to make clear that it sees itself as playing a secondary role to the states. Where the federal government once said the stockpile “ensures that the right medicines and supplies get to those who need the most,” the revised version said the federal stockpile’s role was merely to “supplement state and local supplies.”
""Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said stay-at-home orders should be extended to the entire nation.
“I don’t understand why that’s not happening,” Fauci said Thursday night on CNN. “The tension between federally mandated versus states’ rights to do what they want is something I don’t want to get into. But if you look at what is going on in this country, I don’t understand why we’re not doing that. We really should be.”

Oh please Ednkris. Would you ever want to spend a bit of time ferreting out the truth instead of thinking “FOX news is the only truthful media” and then watching it until your brain turns into vanilla pudding? i do watch cnn sometimes as long as my stomach is empty The massive tax cuts for the 1% and America’s multinational corps did the well documented following: 1. Repatriated off shore funds at a special 10% tax rate. that is a bad thing why?2. Slashed corporate taxes to levels unseen. i think it should be even lower3. Drove stock prices up as the corps spent a vast majority of the tax savings buying back stock. their savings ....can use the money the way they see fit4. With higher stock prices, the execs stock options skyrocketed, and if they were smart enough, they cashed in at the much lower high bracket tax rates. same answer as #35. You Repo-Cons no longer care once again. spin that shit anyway you want obama nearly doubled the debt6. Now those stock gains are gone and we need even more deficit spending, especially since your hero mangled the covid-19 response so badly thousands more pro-life Americans will die in his personal pandemic genocide. wrong if it wasn't for his fast response to travelling to and from china more would be dead from this chinese disease...i would hate to see how bad it would have been under the last president7. More jobs were created under Obama in his last 3 years that Trump in his first three. more useless spin, i doubt the jobs were any real manufacturing jobs 8. The B. Hussein market vastly outperformed Trump’s and you don’t even know that. i have very rarely said anything about the stock market. although great i can make money no matter who is president as long as the economy is good. Remember obama said the new normal gdp growth rate was around 2.5 % what an idiot9. What you do know is a bunch of BS fed to you by your cult leader and his state media apparatchiks. If you didn’t suck so bad over your vote stealing fascist crapola I could almost feel sorry for you. i don't want to steal votes, i just think that when people recieve money from the govt they will vote to keep that money coming no matter how it will affect the country. So there you have it. The real truth, easily verifiable. Do you have a teenager in the house that knows how to google? So there you have it the truth is in the eye of the beholder. The difference is you rather try to belittle others that have a different point of view other than your own with snide little remarks.

That put alot of people to work and.....?hey I'm saying this about myself also when I hit ss age...I know I will be the one who will take care of the bennies no, it didn't.
employment is driven by demand, not net profit.
i will agree with you, but i also believe that corporations are in a better situation to invest in their growth when there is a tax savings to help out

... i don't want to steal votes, i just think that when people recieve money from the govt they will vote to keep that money coming no matter how it will affect the country.... Using that as a criteria for taking people off the voting rolls, there are a lot more who shouldn't be allowed to vote. How about those who own stock in companies with government contracts?

The difference is you rather try to belittle others that have a different point of view other than your own with snide little remarks. 1. That is a bad thing why?....adds to the deficit and exposes they are not paying their fare share. They use our infrastructure, our publically educated work force, our military to protect their interests abroad. At 10% it’s not enough and only adds to the plutocratic and oligarchic society being created. That is horrible for the health of the republic. 2.I think it should be even lower...same as above. Deficits are only bad if they are under Obama. Otherwise no big deal let’s make them even bigger and really be hypocrites. 3. Their savings etc....the tax cuts were sold as a device to build plants, create jobs, raise worker pay. They chose to use it as THEY saw fit. Corporatists such as yourself find that ok they didn’t do what had been sold to get the tax cuts passed. Just more deficit. 4. Same as #3 5. What spin? It’s the real truth. The Tea Party created itself over Obama deficits, even though so much was stimulus to get us going after the crash. Bush doubled the debt and Reagan tripled it, all without a peep from the right. So spin that shit anyway you want, but Trump is well on his way to exceeding Obama, let me know when you care. 6. 430,000 flew in from China after the Chineses officials first warning Dec. 31st. 40,000 flew in the two months after what you called a “fast response”. Nothing about what Trump did regarding this virus was fast. But go ahead and spin that shit anyway you want. Obama would have done a far better job. 7. More useless spin.... it’s quite easy to look up the last 3 years of Obama job growth versus the first three of Trump. I suggest you do it sometime. Trump had more manufacturing jobs but Obama had more overall. Truth is Obama did very well in that arena and Trump built on that success. That you disparage Obama with you nasty little remarks is telling. 8. Obama GDP at 2.5%. What an idiot!... there you go again with your trash talk. Under Bush the GDP growth averaged 2.1%. Until now Trump, with the greatest economy the world has ever seen, had avg. 0.3 higher than Obama and Obama inherited the Repo-Con Crash which started him out much slower than the vibrant economy Trump inherited. 9. I don’t want to steal votes....stop lying. It’s exactly what you have now said numerous times. It’s an extreme right wing fascist viewpoint that fits in nicely with your views on corporate taxation and hate of liberals. Look up the definition and educate yourself on that slippery slope you are on. You have clearly expressed an Un-American viewpoint. I think anyone that does that should not be allowed to vote!😜 So the “truth in the eye of the beholder” huh? Which truths are you beholden ednkris? More corporate wealth and control....check. Trash Obama every chance you get without clue one about his record...check. Support the removal of the right to vote from millions of Americans, especially seniors that have paid into SS their whole working lives, all on some subversive, specious edtruthnkris...check. You do all of this while vociferously calling for millions to be thrown off of the ACA thus creating another pandemic of death and destruction. What kind of American person are you....
