So it seems that about a dozen Liberty University students, having returned to school as instructed by their greedy, sociopathic university president, are now ill with symptoms indicative of COVID-19. Who could have predicted that? /s/ Who could have predicted that?

Maybe their Lord and Savior can raise them from the dead. Could be. Maybe they want to all be together just in case.

I wonder how many lawsuits we're going to see against schools & other places that didn't shut down, but should have?

I was reading up on this more and it sounds like he didn't just reopen the school and have everyone come back which is what I had originally thought. He left it open for students that wanted to stay or had nowhere else to go (mostly international students). That's how a lot of the schools around here have been doing things as well. DS's friend just moved out of his dorm this weekend and he said there are students staying but it's very sparse with over 90% gone. They are only running one dining hall instead of the normal 6 or 7.

And as long as no one returns or no one new enters campus, those who stay should be safe. YDS, planning to ride it out at school, got seriously outraged (so not his nature) when a brother tried to come back into the frat house after having gone to Florida for Spring Break.

On Sunday, Liberty University president Jerry Falwell Jr. announced that unlike virtually all other colleges and universities in the United States, Liberty would soon be reopening and permitting thousands of students and faculty to return to campus — even as the coronavirus continues to rage and the city where the school resides discouraged the move. www.vox.com/2020/3/25/21192712/liberty-university-trump-coronavirus-falwellThis sounds like students were gone on spring break and are coming back. Really, really stupid

This sounds like students were gone on spring break and are coming back. Really, really stupid That's what happened all around here too though, it's not just Liberty University. They said 1900 of 46,000 students returned and since then 800 have since moved back home.
