Today’s presser fucking broke me. I’m done with today. I’ll try again tomorrow. My state's presser today has enraged me. I could spit nails right now at the knuckle dragging Georgia deliverance fuckers. I stopped watching the white house reality show daily episode last week.

Doing? Not well. Our governor just announced a list as long as my arm of places that are open as of Friday (all while keeping the shelter in place order until April 30). There is no hope in Georgia. Open up just about everything while we have number going up and down like a yo-yo, no steady down numbers for 14 days, just a whim of our idiot governor because it's "the will of the people and because we are well prepared when the numbers go up." He will have as much blood on his hands as trump, but he'll be on trump's nice list. Can't take it. Gonna watch murder shows instead so I'll know how to escape when the bad guys come for me. Or zombies. I'm really hoping for an asteriod or an alien invasion at this point. Something to just wipe us all out in the blink of an eye.

Maybe the aliens will save us by bringing a vaccine and a cure. Never mind. Why would they bother? I'll go with the asteroid.

birds and squirrels will find our houses hospitable. there will be plenty of food, clean air, and water to take care of them all. and they won't have to worry about us fucking up their environment any more.
it would make the planet a far more desirable destination for aliens.

I have not bothered watching a single one. I figure I have lost nothing by that choice. I don't think I've watched any speeches at all by him other than a few sentences I couldn't avoid. I'm afraid of becoming dumber from listening to the moron. The fact that you are aware of that potential outcome almost assures that you will not fall victim to it. It is the people lacking that perceptiveness that are in danger. They necessarily have to be pretty dumb to start with but as he himself proves, one can always go lower.

I learned that lesson with W.

OMG, if zombies are the next plague, just kill me now. It's way too depressing, them fighting off the zombies, finding a safe place, and Wham - a group of bullies destroys everything because it's nice (instead of joining them). New place, wham, new bullies. But they are *good* people, so they can't just kill the bullies, nope, they have to try to fix/convert the evil bullies. So no zombiepocalypse series THAT NEVER END!

Sun's out. Sunshine is what I need every day to stay (semi)sane.
Sanjay Gupta just said we need to remember that we're all in this together. We were all in this together until wacko governors started "relaxing" restrictions. In Georgia, that seems to mean "go wherever you want, whenever you want, and do whatever you want" starting Friday.

I stepped on the scale this am, since I felt puffy. I did not at all like the number I saw, ugh. not COVID-19, maybe 8-10 though. remember, I've been home a month and a half at this point. I can't do much about it right now, other than making sure I get out for longer walks with the pups with what little free time I have. when I get all moved over to the new place next week, everything is new, so I should be able to change things up a little easier than trying to break bad habits I've developed here.

I'm wearing spanx so I could get my pants on today. So, it is not uncommon.

everything still fits, which isn't necessarily a good thing, since I was almost into the next size down when this all started. but while I do try things on periodically to make sure that stays the case, I haven't worn anything but yoga pants in probably a month.

I am right there with you. I was doing really well and losing weight. I do not weigh myself but my pants were really loose. Well, I can say I'm still in the same size but my pants are no longer loose

I started out this quarantine stressed to high heaven over getting this work from home thing to work for me, a kitchen mostly dismantled for a complete remodel, and just general anxiety over the whole vivid thing. I lost 10 pounds in a month. Now that I have (somewhat) a kitchen, and I'm settled in, day-drinking, I'm merely holding steady. I wear sweatpants pretty much all day, every day. I love my new work wardrobe! 😋

I am very bad in the winter, no exercise at all really, other than throwing snow. So I rely on golf and spring clean up to start getting me back in shape. Golf is out. I am heavy.

I've always tried to keep up on the talking points so i can counter them. I realized last night though that when I hear the lies now it just leads to me not being able to talk to my parents at all... or others who might share those views... so does it really matter? For piece of mind I need to bug out on anything but specific, expert led virus dealing stuff. We are blessed and can stay inside for 4-8 weeks and wait to see what happens. I'm sure you guys will let me know if something horrid needs my attention.

I find trump to be a bit like Rush Dimlog. Try as I might over the years, I could only listen to 5-10 minutes of Rus at a time before switching the dial in disgust. Trump's pressers (Reality Show) have the same effect on me, especially knowing that he is substituting them for his Nazi rallies. Luckily we have a local network that I watch for weather anyway that does not even air them. Bless the folks at WCSH! The only amusement I miss is him losing it with reporters, and trust me all of that covfefe is available on fb, utuba and even here! Anyway, peace out.

I am boyant. Floating along happy like a balloon on a light breeze. Why? I am eating better. I make sure I exercise. I have very interesting TV shows on Sling. H. is in a better mood. I'm thinking about and looking forward to geocaching soon.

I'm sorry for all the angst this bloody virus is causing. People are climbing the walls and it's easy to understand. I've been so darned busy at the clinic I haven't had time to get antsy. My internet bit the dust and I didn't even have time to get that fixed until today. This is a mess! There's no doubt about it. We've really not faced anything like it in our lifetimes. Hang in there because this, too, will pass.

Today was my kiddo's first day back to work after his vacation. His store is now up to 4 confirmed cases. Friday they open it all back up for full on 24/7 business. He sent me a message telling me he was using another 1 week vacation he has & their CV19 leave of absence policy to take the next 2 1/2 weeks off. He wants no part of the reopen. He has enough money saved up that he doesn't have to worry about bills. He has all the money he saved up from the gambling vacation he was supposed to be on last week. I want to happy cry with relief over his decision. Hubby will lecture him about work ethic/doing his job but he's got money saved up & wants to protect himself since the store & the state are doing everything they can to make sure more people catch it. His plan is to work until Friday morning & then start his leave of absence.

Feeling as fine as frog's hair. Ever seen frog's hair? No? That's because it's so fine. I'm going out to plant stuff. I'll feel even finer when that's done.
Carry on.
