I like using them to wipe down my kitchen counter that we eat off of and for at my desk at work. If I sprayed them I'd still have to use something to wipe up after, so either a paper towel or a rag that would need to go in the laundry. Having said that, I'll run out and not replace them for long stretches. I do cleaning rag laundry every 3-4 weeks. That was a painless switch for me to reduce waste. But I always felt like the point of cleaning with chemicals was to let them set for a bit so that I didn't have to work hard on the actual cleaning and you don't get that with wipes. How do you store them until that time? Don't they get moldy if they are wet?

I live in Colorado so that happens quickly. No mold issues. I might be up to washing them every 2-3 weeks since we stopped buying any paper towels? But that's a load of laundry I don't mind doing because it requires no work. I put the clean rags in a drawer unfolded, and hang the now clean bag up to be refilled.

This is the first time I’ve bought paper towels in a long time.

I use rags quite a bit at home, but the wipes are really convenient (for me anyhow) at work. I eat two meals a day at my desk and it's nice to just pull out a wipe instead of a spray bottle and paper towel.
