Hearing that it was him, his 13yo, and another parent and child on their way to a basketball game or practice.

A legend that extended far beyond the basketball court. He was a father, an Academy Award winner and a business mentor to many who watched his career from his early days as a high school champion to his retirement from the NBA. It's easy to say he died doing what he loved; being with one of his kids and on the way to her game (in which he was apparently planning to coach her team). It's hard to say goodbye to two lost so young, both him and his daughter. Their mutual life potential that is now gone is staggering.
Heaven's court has two new players, together forever.
