I do too! And call Mulvaney, Rudy, Pompeo, and Bolton! Lay out exactly what happened. Any problem with telling the truth? After all, if you have nothing to hide, you would want them to testify. No, the only people allowed to testify will be those who back the president. Like the reverse of what happened in the house. Not really be big deal, it's what will happen. Everyone has known this all along that it was just a show, a fishing expedition. Now it will be time for the primetime backfire, if they even have the Senate trial. I'm all for it. Don't think that quiet happened in the House, hence the article of impeachment for obstructing Congress. Sadly, the American people will not be able to hear their testimony. Even sadder that the Senators admit they don't even care.

Why do the Repo-Cons continue to lack awareness that 1. Two witnesses were called by their team and 2. The best possible witnesses...Bolton, Pompeo, Mulvaney, and Giuliani were ordered by Trump to not participate.
Would y’all stop lying about that now?

even if it WERE the case that impeachment was a nothingburger, the president has no standing to deny accesses to witnesses.
none. and it is a TERRIBLE precedent.

LOL. The senate cannot overturn the impeachment vote. trump will still go down in history as only the third president in U.S. history to be impeached. And Hillary will laugh and laugh at him as trump will be no better than her husband. i think they can still vote to acquit thou. Trump will love the impeachment vote i know i do. candidly, I don't see how anyone can "love" any aspect of this.
it is thoroughly heartbreaking to see America go through this.

DJ, you are absolutly right. It is terrible for America to go thru this. There is no real proof that he should be impeached the dems are overreaching their authority on this that is why i love it, to watch them get defeated. It is actually a very sad time in America

that is impeachable.
imagine for a minute if Clinton bullied Lewinsky and others into not producing evidence against his perjury. how would you react?
imagine something far worse. imagine a president arranging a hit on an opponent and covering it up.
this man has to be taught a lesson. we live in a nation of laws. he is not above them.
impeachment is the only remedy.

Bottom line is Trump doesn’t want more of the truth to come out. He IS obstructing the Constitutionally mandated investigation. However, he has been impeached anyway.

obstructing how? by telling white house workers not to comply---he has that right Does he? This is being played out at this point as a Trump against the Democrats in the House issue. What is truly at stake is the future balance of power between the Executive and Legislative Branches. Over the past 50 plus years, under both Republican and Democratic Administrations, the power of the Executive Branch has grown. President Trump is continuing the trend. At some point that growth needs to either be checked or we might as well eliminate the Legislative Branch.

He can say pretty much anything he wants to fox news, doesn't really mean anything. Kind of like Eric Holder saying he's Obama's wingman while he was in office, then calling out Barr for his partisan loyalty to Trump Mostly a bunch of nothing designed to attract attention from those who don't know any better. Eric Holder was not going to be a jury member of any trial unlike MM. He's not just a jury member.

The only people sad on testimony in the Senate will be the never Trumpers. The American people in general, seem kind of tired of the waste of time. It was kind of like the Republicans voting to eliminate the ACA in the house about forty times, when it was always DOA in the Democrat controlled Senate. Another waste of time.

There is some merit to the House only writing 2 articles... there is no way an honest, reasonable person could find him not guilty on those two counts.

President Trump touts poll numbers as ‘through the roof’ against impeachment — Fox News says otherwise
President Trump on Friday tweeted that poll numbers in favor of “no impeachment” have “gone through the roof.” The whole thing is a “total hoax” and a “scam” that Nancy Pelosi started more than two years ago, he claimed. Trump clearly wasn’t reading from his favorite network’s latest poll numbers, however, with Fox News revealing half of America is in favor of impeaching and removing the president — up from 49% in October. Clinton was impeached for lying about a consensual sexual affair; result Republicans looked ridiculous The other will be impeached for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress: result exposing the utter corruption of the Republican party

There is a difference. Any more obvious omissions, and I'll think you work for the liberal media.

He will have that power. He is still not just a jury member. Who then is the jury? The Senate will decide if to remove him or not. They will also control the proceedings. They will also adjust the rules of the proceedings as they see fit. Including who will be allowed to testify. These aren't powers of a common jury To the dismay of never Trumpers everywhere, they will talk about this ahead of time. I remember how the Democrat Claire McCaskill lost her Senate seat because of the Supreme court vote 2 years ago. Her polls flipped right after the vote. Democrats need to think ahead of time on that also, with this impeachment vote. A number of seats can go either way in the house this next election.
