I feel his pain. We've had to put two of our dogs down. I hoped I'd never have to do it again after the first one, but our fur babies make it obvious when it's too painful for them to continue on. And, I believe it's kinder, when they're in a lot of pain, no longer able to stand by their own power, or are struggling to breathe, to just gently let them go.

I am always a wreck and cry too not ashamed to amid it. Held a friend died of gun shots had buddies killed by ieds but cry like a baby when I put a pet down. Always get another think they are better off with me then in a cage in shelter
