Ex-MIL is very close to this level.  The stuff she says/believes is bizarre.  I think mental illness might have something to do with it.  She might not think she'd have a gay knee, but there would probably be some kind of government conspiracy behind the implant.

We'd all like to believe that no one is that stupid, and yet there was that singer recently who declined a liver transplant because it might be from a gay person (among other "reasons").  This was just sad.  He was apparently a beloved and very popular entertainer but cut his life short out of ignorance and fear.

I think we need a PSA campaign to tell everyone that we're all breathing each other's "air".... as in we've all most likely had air in our lungs that was recently in the lungs of   someone was "gay lesbian" or who ever is on our own personal "I hate those people!"  list.
